Everyone, I thought since Wombat was taking a lot of shit, I would see if the Florida bound members would each chip in say 70 bucks to fly the furry funny talking bastard out for the shows. I thought it would be a genuine show of love and support. After I asked around, I then asked Andrew if it were possible for him to come. he said if he came, his marriage would be bye bye. Now was not the time. Ok, fair enough.

Well Andrew, I want you to know, I checked Quantas Airlines and found fares for about $1800.00 USD. I figured we could get about 2300.00 to include your hotels and food and booze.

I put the topic on the other site, and I want you to know, as well as everyone else. we easily had pledges of $2300.00USD.

Next time, is THE time. Andrew, I can speak for DCVader here and openly invite you to his ranch property in Virginia, for the May Melee. Dave is installing a stripper pole, some others have contacts to catered BBQ, Frontiers is playing (Consider this your notice Jeremey), and maybe another certain Journey sounding band may show.

I can guarantee you, we can definitely bring out the fuzzy foreigner in May.

First and MOST importantly - I did say that if I wanted to stay married, now was not the time, but I meant in the sense that we have 2 small kids and it was only in October that I spent a week in the US and then a week in the UK.

I don't want to push my luck you know....hahaha

On a more serious note - there is so much work that needs doing here and keeping on top of what needs to be done to guarantee an income for us all is no mean feat...so I simply can't take any time off right now.

But - the offer itself - humbling, generous and amazing....and I thank all that responded for even considering it.

At some stage it would be my great privilage and honor to hang out with a mob of you mad loonatics. One day.

Stuck at home today because of the stupid ice storm! Tried to drive into work, but that didn't turn out as planned as my car decided to slide into a ditch. Turned my ass around and came back home. When is everybody arriving in Clearwater? I booked our hotel room at the Hampton Inn for the 9th, but need to know if there is gonna be a pre-show party, cause I wouldn't want to miss it. Although I do have to behave (can't be too 'shameless') since I promised a good friend that I would. Pam and Carol (and everybody else that's interested), we're gonna do those Slammers though~let's make those our first Journey Party tradition!!!

Thats already on my list of things to bring for the party....love them....Slammers will be our first toast to each other...
We are arriving on the 8th...should be there between 3-4 pm...DC,AR, and Duke are arriving on the 8th also but later....
We will look at local bars within walking distance to the hotel to see if they have a separate room for us since we will be a large group...

Yea, me too. I don't think it will be a problem. It's just a surgery to take out an IV port that I've had in since Chemo.
