Yep, can't beat Japanese cars, lol. Honda's, Nissan's, Toyota's...

We had a Dodge that was the biggest piece of garbage on earth, lol. It had so many problems even the people at the Dodge dealership finally admitted it was junk, lol.

First of, any manufacturer can have a missfortune on some vehicle , regardless of which country its built in. Image
Second, I dont agree that you cant beat Japanese cars. When it comes to QUALITY , Japense in general lack some of that which in the end results in better price of course. Image
Last, even the Japanese cars get built here ini US, so its not true Japanese car after all. I have nothing against import cars, but I fully spport the American cars, because car buisness affects a huge portion of our economy.Image

I totally get what you're saying. We just had many "American" cars for years, & lots of bad luck with them I guess. Got tired of the hassle & the $ we shelled out. So far haven't had nearly the same probs with our Toyotas (knocking on wood) but I'm sure they're coming...ALL mechanical things break eventually, some just broke faster than others for us  lol.

Actually,a good part of "Borat" was shot in the Romanian poor rural areas... God knows how they found those places,I had no idea they existed.

I had one of those "Dacia" cars 18 years ago when I got my driver's license.
Never want to drive those again in my life...Nightmare vehicles.Suicide on 4 wheels.

you should put spinners on that pinto.. it might be the only one in the world then..

hahaha, that would be classy, for sure! I once saw a Yugo that was um, "customized". The person must have spent more on customizing than the car cost originally.

I'm glad to see so many people claiming to drive Mustangs. My '68 convertible is my favorite "ride" especially on those cold november days, with the top down and the heat blasting. I'd LOVE to have a NEW Mustang, but, maybe one day. Sorry no pics to share of it.

'64 Chevy Nova's what I drive. Gas mileage is decent and it runs. The wife drives an '06 Pontiac Vibe, which is actually a Toyota Matrix but about 8 grand cheaper.

I drive the Nova because it's paid for, it's been in the family since the day it drove off the lot, and I'm not making a 2nd car payment each month when I've got a perfectly good running car sitting right there.

Not mine but virtually identical

I'm done with "American" cars for awhile. We still have one in the driveway that's on it's way out. It's an ok car.. but by the time we're done with it'll have close to 200,000 miles on it.
It's a 2002 Ford Taurus that my husband uses for work. Mechanically it works great.. but the inside seems to be not taking to the wear well.

Im curious to see how our other 2 cars hold up (Acura and Honda).

Unless the truck just doesn't *go* to the beach, he's missing the requisite beach parking stickers to be Corpus. Though, could be anywhere from Galveston to South Padre with the trees. lol

Interesting. I'm the same way. I've never liked Fords, but I do like some Mustangs.
Btw, there's a new Camaro coming in the next coupla years. I wonder if there'll be a new Firebird?

later~

You be the judge if you like the new Camaros or not. I kind of wish they would go back to a 60's retro look myself...sort of like the Mustang..but that's just me! It's funny, it looks like it has two eyes, a nose, and a mean looking mouth! lol

I had a '92 Camaro back when it came out. I must have this one.

Those new camaros have too much of a Mopar signature look to them. That's strange... looks like a charger crossed with a 300m.
