Nig, that weren't just freaks, they were retards.....One guy had a lisp, some sang in 5 different keys in one song, and one had eyes that were bugging out of his head...where do they find these people and why put them o n TV????
Funny, but sad...

Cowardly Lion/Chewbacca Girl was the only one that was funny and she was just pathetic with her begging.![]()
And the thing about Chris Daughtry is yeah he was kind of a one trick pony when it came to how he sang the songs BUT he was able to change his voice up a bit. That "rocker" kid last night sang in the same monotone way all the way through every song he attempted. He's gonna blow his throat out forcing it like that.
People like the Apollo Creed guy and the juggler just HAVE to know that they won't get through performing like that. And then the families consoling them with the "you will be a star" talks.

The way you've used the term "retard" here is entirely offensive NOT to those who are truly retarded but rather to your own intelligence.
"RETARD" OR "RETARDS" ARE NOT CLASSIFICATIONS OF HUMAN BEINGS. BEING RETARDED IS A CONDITION AND RESULT OF BEING HUMAN.

The term "retard" is used so regularly and improperly on this board that it makes me wonder who it is that's truly retarded.

You're free to leave this board at any time. I, for one, don't think you'll be missed. If it looks and acts like a retard, then dammit, it IS a retard. Go dream about your Latin Journey album. Now THAT is retarded.![]()

(Except for when she gets rejected, she looks sad. I cannot imagine how these people truly believe they are talented, and set themselves up for rejection. They must either be tone deaf, or their parents lied to them and praised their singing instead of helping them face reality.)

Then when that blond chick later on did an only passable job on an Aretha Franklin song, they like her. Made no sense to me. She's got a good voice, but she's no Kelly Clarkson, or even Kelli Pickler for that matter.

How sad.

Last night there was a girl who came in dressed in a cowboy hat and boots and admitted she couldn't sing, but knew she could be the next American Idol regardless. When asked if she was there just to be on TV, she said "no."Then of course she gets all dramatic and turns on the water works when the judges send her home.

She was a joke. So obvious she just wanted her 15 minutes, no matter how stupid she looked.
