Not the greatest quality video or audio, but thought I'd post it anyway.

That was back in 94-95. Perry has cut his hair since then. But yeah, somewhere I heard that he just let his hair grow out. Took years I believe. :D

His hair was even longer during the TBF era. He said in one TBF interview that it was down to his butt and he hadn't cut it for a very long time.

I liked it in the I Am video and the rehearsal segments from You Better Wait. I didn't like that wet, slicked back look when he had it in a pony tail though.

I liked the long hair, but I didn't like the sides clipped close like that.

I think the loons give SP a free pass on this tour. It's all tuned down and he gets drowned out by shitty backing vocals on many of the songs on this Memphis recording.

Get this straight - I am not saying he is bad......

But the way some of the fucking loons pick on Jeff's every note - there is PLENTY to criticize Perry on this tour.

It was a good tour. I saw him at the Tower Theater, had terrible seats, but it was still good. The memory is fuzzy, but I recall that red coat with tails coming down from the rafters. Don't remember much, having drank a ton at the Eagles/Cardinals game that afternoon...Buddy Ryan's return. I don't even remember who won that game.

I think you've got your loons confused Ed. Most of the Perry faction are on board with Jeff or at least willing to give him a chance.

I'm not talking about any specific loon. Basically the type of loon saying that they will make their decision after an album with Jeff comes out (cough...journeyforums complainers...fucking bores......no fun.....cough) Lot of JSS hating over there.

I know every guy on this forum is a fan of Perry...they just don't want to come across as faggy for being on a message board posting about an 80's band 8) that's why ya'll throw in the football talk and show your rides and big long guitars...

LMAO AR! Have you seen the latest? That Jeff's voice is too metal for Journey, that he doesn't look like Journey, that his jeans are tacky, & the real kicker.....that he's too tall for Journey. I think I still have diet Coke in my nose from that one  lol.

Yeah, I have read some of that stuff. :?

JSS can sing metal, soul, AOR, whatever you want. Dude just "has it". I was skeptical at first because I only knew of him through Yngwie and in fact saw him perform back in 1986 (Something I remind him of anytime I see him LOL)

Once he got the gig, I went and checked out his solo and Talisman stuff and was way impressed. Seeing the JRNY shows in AC and Boston sealed the deal. He will allow this band to go on, and they would not have had things stayed status quo.

I'm happy for him and for the band. The best possible end to a weird situation.

I think the fact that Perry is somewhere in the middle of nowhere petting his kitty cat instead of performing is enough to complain about, don't you think?

Yep, I actually listened to some of "Marching Out" not too long ago & after listening to Jeff's solo stuff, SS, Talisman, etc. so much it's neat to hear how different he sounded then.

Moose, that doesn't even make sense. From what I've seen, it's not the 'loons' saying all that stupid shit, it's those die-hard Augeri fans who have a problem with Jeff. Hell, one of 'em was even outraged that I asked Jeff in a Q&A if he wore "boxers or briefs" and he replied "commando". How freakin' childish.

I, for one, think that's valuable information...
