If someone sends a derogatory post about my site by e-mail - I read it and ignore it. Do not draw attention to it.

But yet you'll draw attention to the fact that some members of your forum are also members of the other forum and threaten banishment simply for that. Isn't that behavior just as juvenile?

No, the Annex is AR's place where he can let in whoever he wants. Same concept as myspace, where you only let certain "friends" in your network. It's not meant to be a huge restaurant chain, just a small corner bar.

I realize that. I am registered at both places. So I can't be a friend if I'm a member of both places? If that isn't juvenile, I don't know what is.

Ed's...I posted that I wouldn't have done it that way but that it seemed rather juvenile to say that you can't be registered at the other forum and be considered a friend and member of the Journey Annex.

I have a problem with what was posted on journeyforums.com about what was said at the Annex (even though I'm not a member of the Annex). To me, it sounds like another case of people becoming jealous about the happenings regarding Journey at some place they were not privy to - just like as was the case when JSS and Ross came to the party at AR's house.

The people at journeyforums.com covered up another jab at the Annex by saying that we would NEVER delete your account, blah blah blah. Yeah, I'm sure they got a lot of emails from concerned journeyforum visitors who thought their account might be deleted for belonging to another forum. Just another way to get a jab in at something they are not included in. Give me a fucking break.

If I remember right the Annex was started because some of the people here wanted to have a little more leeway in their posting style than Andrew wanted on this public board. It was meant to be a private board. Whoever leaked the stuff from it is trying to manipulate a war between MR and the JF.

By the way, I'm not a member of the Annex, but I think they have a right to their privacy within it and I think Ed did the right thing in cleaning house.

What you have to look out for now Ed is that this person may have saved and edited stuff to throw out at a later date.

I'm not going to be part of any war between these boards if I can help it, but NIG is right. Andrew would never have posted that kind of thing.

Didn't you read what I wrote? Because one of their mods decided to start a thread with posts cut and pasted from the Annex. Ed has the right to say that anyone who wants to participate in that forum is not welcome in his.

He didn't say that they COULDN'T be members of the other forum. He said they needed to talk to him before he approved them for the Annex. Why would he not? He's been sabotaged. He has a private board and should be able to feel secure in that privacy.
