More leway than here?!?!?! God help us! So how is it not a total contradiction to tell the members that they can't be a member of the other forum???

If I remember right the Annex was started because some of the people here wanted to have a little more leeway in their posting style than Andrew wanted on this public board. It was meant to be a private board. Whoever leaked the stuff from it is trying to manipulate a war between MR and the JF.

By the way, I'm not a member of the Annex, but I think they have a right to their privacy within it and I think Ed did the right thing in cleaning house.

What you have to look out for now Ed is that this person may have saved and edited stuff to throw out at a later date.

I'm not going to be part of any war between these boards if I can help it, but NIG is right. Andrew would never have posted that kind of thing.

He didn't say that they COULDN'T be members of the other forum. He said they needed to talk to him before he approved them for the Annex. Why would he not? He's been sabotaged. He has a private board and should be able to feel secure in that privacy.

The sad part is, there isn't a thing that is truly private on the internet. Don't post something that you don't want read by many. I have been on quite a few message boards, some of them supposedly *private*. It's amazing what gets leaked.

With that said, anyone who is mod of a board has every right to delete/ban/refuse anyone for any reason. And they don't have to justify it to anyone. If AR wants to clean house and only allow 5 people on his board, then that's his right as the *owner*. I'm not a member of the Annex and I've never applied. AR doesn't know me from Adam so it's highly doubtful I'd get in even if I did apply.

Ed only admitted people that he knew from this forum to the Annex. If the mod from the other forum was among those people he would have had to have been posting here incognito for quite some time. I don't see Skylorde as the kind of person who would be that underhanded.

It looks to me as if someone from the Annex copied stuff from there and sent it to Skylorde to fuel the fire between the boards.

I can't speak for Ed, but I'm sure he posted it here just to get the word out as quickly as possible to his forum members, since they all come from here.
