JOURNEY on 'Wheel Of Fortune' in February

Postby *Laura » Wed Jan 24, 2007 7:39 am

I just got this message from Journey in a bulletin on Myspace.

Looks like the band received an e-mail from the show's staff. :)

"Journey Song On Wheel of Fortune!!

Congratulations!

On behalf of "Wheel of Fortune", we would like to take a moment and let you know that the song "SPOILERXXXSPOILER" by Journey will be featured as a puzzle on the February 19, 2007 episode of our show.

"Wheel of Fortune", which has ranked as television's #1 syndicated series for 89 consecutive sweeps ratings periods, marked the beginning of it's 24th season on September 11, 2006. With over 19 million viewers daily, syndication's longest-running, most successful series continues to attract a larger audience than most primetime TV shows. "Wheel of Fortune" airs in 211 markets representing more than 99% of the United States.

The above was received in an email from the Wheel of Fortune staff and the title is not given so that all Journey fans and watchers can guess along with the rest of the nation."

If anyone here remembers to watch this on the 19th,I'd be curious to know which song did they pick.

I bet it is gonna be "DSB"...we sometimes watch the show (our autistic girl likes letters). For some reason I recall turning the show on months ago when we first started watching it & there was something Journey related 'cuz I remember how odd it was that it happened just when I tuned in.

I think Wheel in the Sky is a good guess because of, well, the wheel of course. Don't Stop Believin' is the song that's had more focus lately though. Whichever, it's good to have something like this to help get the Journey name back in the public consciousness.

Sorry....when I hear "Wheel of Fortune", all I can think of is a "Friends" episode:

Here's what's left on the Board:

-OUNT RUSHMORE

Joey says:

"Oh, COME ON....it's COUNT RUSHMORE!!!"

 please let this be NOT THAT....

Good point Nora. It could turn out to be an embarrassment. DSB is the best chance for recognition so let's hope they're using that one.

God I may take some heat for this, but I like that song. Very soulful.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.
