Hey JSS, what's the story on your Takara days?

I've got a couple of the albums you did with them in the early-mid 90's I guess. Taste of Heaven is some of my favorite stuff you've done, yet I hardly ever hear anything about that album.

What's the deal with that gig? I know they continued after you; and the discs I have don't show you in the liner notes but they show the other members. Hired gun deal, or what?

You're in phenomenal form on some of those songs...it's really what got me into your work.

I can't really answer for JSS, But I thought he spoke of Takara as exactly like you said: Hired gun. And it was not some of his fondest times for him.
