Hard to believe Open Arms or DSB didn't hit #1. How high did they go?

US- To Know Him Is To Love Him - The Teddy Bears

and something by the "Rockinghams?" for the UK.
Dang- I'm old..........
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, wine and chocolate in hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "what a ride!"

Here is an odd situation...the #1 Hit in the US and The UK were exactly the same the day I was born..

Cathys Clown - The Everley Bros

Interesting.

DOB: Poor Side of Town - Johnny Rivers.

I was definitely born on the poor side of town. My name is John. One of my all-time favorite songs is Change Is Gonna Come by Same Cooke. The opening lines:
"I was born by the river in a little tent - Oh and just like the river I've been running ever since."

Hmmm...poverty, rivers, and running...sums up my life so far!

My wife's DOB is also intriguing: Please Mr. Postman - Carpenters.

We met via the internet - this generation's postal service.

Day we were married: Maria Maria - Santana.

She's Colombian so it just makes sense for the U.S. to be charting a Latin artist's song on our wedding day.

The Garden of Eden can't be found on a map. It's not a geographical location. It's right where you are - if you're in the spirit.
