Sure do...Jim Croce was one of the best...great writer and storyteller through his songs. Thanks CRL!Clasicrockldy wrote:Do any of you remember Jim Croce? Well, over at Guitars 101, there is a link for his last concert ever. It is an audience recording, and for 1973, it is pretty good. What the poster said, 15 mins after this concert was over, Jim and his guitarist died in a plane crash in Louisiana. This is a part of music history.

I am 90% sure these facts are true.
The last concert that Jim Croce performed was on the campus of Northwestern State University of Louisiana. The concert took place at Prather Areana. It is the areana where the Demons play basketball. Its right next to their athletic fieldhouse about a quarter mile from their football stadium. Ther have been some tremendous football players that played at NSU. These include Jon Stephens, Mark Duper, Gary Reasons, Odessa Turner and I believe John Ferguson.
Anyway, we all know what happened after that concert.
He left us way too soon.
