OK, I received the Boca Raton DVD and I've copied it and ripped it. I divided it into 6 parts for upload and I'm in the process of doing that now, but it's probably going to take all day to get it up there. Deen's version of After The Fall is killer, by the way!

Zino, that's so much for doing this - the disc will be back in the mail to you today.

The did After The Fall and it was during a concert? And Deen sang?

Yup. I heard him do it in Rockford, Il. a few years back. Pretty darn good. His voice just doesn't have the power that Perry had, though. Still, a pretty good version. Just great to hear that song live. Very underrated song.

Honestly, I'm not sure how to do that. If someone tells me how or what software to use, I'll be happy to.

I did it with the 1981 DVD from Houston. I used a program called Audio Editor Gold. It was done in real time, so it took a while. I just played the DVD on my computer and started Audio Editor Gold recording. I broke the finished file up into tracks using that same program. It turned out perfect.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

Ever since Deano posted this comment I've been looking, and I finally found it! I can't post it here because it's an official release, just not by Journey. I did a search on iTunes for Deen Castronovo, and this album came up by "The Hitmaker" with four dance/club mixes of DSB with Deen singing. I downloaded the one called "The Amazing Journey Mix" and Deen's singing is great, but the whole thing is a little weird.

If you look it up in the iTunes store, you can listen to samples of each song.

Just a little info that is of interest about this release -

A while back I downloaded a DSB Remix that was definitely a Perry vocal. I emailed The Hitmaker website and they replied saying that because of licensing or something, the Perry version could not be officially released as they had sampled the original recordings, and thats how they came to get Deeno involved. The profits from the ensuing CD went to charity - White Sox or something. I can't be sure as I don't have it to hand as I bought it for my ma who is a Journey mad.

As well as the tracks on the CD, Deen also did an acoustic version of the song which was on the Hitmakers MySpace page but that has since been removed and replaced by one of the remix versions with Deens vocal. The page is at http://www.myspace.com/thehitmakermixes
