Well said, T B. Forgive me if you've already stated this, but are you planning on checking this tour out? Any dates announced near you yet?

NIG, I have a "wait and see" attitude about this tour. I will be watching for and reading reviews as the tour progresses. I live in the Midwest, and at this point, no nearby venues have been announced. I worked for an airline for 25 years, so I can pretty much travel to anywhere in the country.

For me it's going to be "the '84 Lineup Or Bust."

Happy's I am for Dave, I'm not forking out what's sure to be top coin for 3 and Wolfie on bass.

I'm actually beyond caring about VH. You know, people have been clamoring for a reunion of the original lineup for years. Now that Dave is back in the fold (at least, until EVH gets pissed off about something), some folks think that's all well and good. I say it's still not a true reunion because now Mikey has been booted. So even though I will still look at the reviews, I highly doubt I would shell out money for tickets.

That's the thing though - I'm not overtly praising the guy - I am just finding it necessary to rise to the occasion and defend the guy and his legacy against people whose every single post is a negative.

If what you say is true - that one guy (presumably Eddie) is the 'ruination of the band' well, what the fuck, it's HIS band to ruin or otherwise!!! Enjoy the albums we have and raise a glass to the soundtrack of your life!

Yeah, a lot of people seem to find that hard to accept in these forums. No matter how many albums a band releases with their "classic line-up", there are always people bitching for a reunion, or one more album or tour. They can't just do what you say, Kenny, and just thank them for the great music they have given us. So tiring...

I kinda feel bad for the poor sod.
Don't think I would ever go under the
facial knife.

I loved the photo (Larry?) added with
the upside down axe, nice shot indeed!
