Aaaahh, the good old Capitol Centre!! I used to work there. It is gone now, replaced by a shopping mecca, owned by Magic Johnson, I believe?

Is it really? Damn. Lot of memories of that place, Sunshine. Off the top of my head, I know I've seen VH there (2x), Rush, Aerosmith, Journey, Sammy, Krokus, Ratt, Bon Jovi, Fleetwood Mac, Def Leppard...

Was more traumatic when they tore down Hammerjacks.

I know!!! I remember watching the Capitol Centre being built when I was a little girl!!! I spent MANY, MANY nights there at concerts and used to work there at Ticketmaster! LOTS of good memories!

Have you ever seen the DVD, "Heavy Metal Parking Lot"? It was shot at the Capitol Centre in '86 during a Judas Priest concert. I was there that night!

Loosing Hammers was a tragedy as well!! Spent alot of time there also... Yngwie, Blue Murder, Quade (a band I used to help out), and so many others. Rams Head reminds me a lot of Hammerjack's but with more class!!

I saw the final concert ever at the Capital Centre, Fleetwood Mac - The Dance tour. Coincidentally it was Christine McVie's final full length performance with the band.

This is funny, I've been listening to the audio version of this complete show for the last two weeks in my car...I had no idea that there was video out there. If anyone has the full show I'd love to see it..

Yeah, I have HMPL on DVD. Hilarious.

Ram's Head is kind of like Hammerjacks grown up. Especially the ticket prices. We'll have to hit a show there one day. I know AR is going to the Shaw/Blades show at the end of March.

Shaw/Blades is at Rams Head Tavern in Annapolis. Same owners as Rams Head Baltimore, but a much smaller venue.

BTW - the actual date of that Journey Cap Centre clip is 8/23/80. I have the full show as well.
