Sigh, I miss things the way the once were....

Postby AR » Sun Feb 04, 2007 6:19 am

You know, I would really like to give this new lineup a chance. However all the silly behavior makes me want to go somewhere for adult, intelligent discussion.

Andrew, you should be ashamed of yourself for the behavior of RocknDeano and some of the other ilk here. I would do things differently. You need to run the board the way a true adult would.

Jeff has a great voice but he just doesn't sound like Journey and I am tired of being bashed for having a difference of opinion. We need true dialog here. Intelligent dialog, and not pornography and insults. I just do not feel comfortable with what goes on here. Even though I have my own outlet for boring people, I will still come here and be annoying because I had a Journey board 50 years ago.

Thanks.

Charo is a whore.

Andrew, please take note of this horrible slander inflicted by Ed. Calling someone a racist, drug addict is going too far. Where is the big cheese when you need him!

Already PMed Andrew regarding Ed's out of bounds behaviour.

Seriously, this Board is going the way of ridiculous.

I have been banned, but am allowed this last post to say goodbye.

Intelligent discourse is apparently not supported here. This seems to be a forum of personalities only. My wiggler was fired because a member here told the truth. Telling the truth is not adult dialog. Lipping was just as fake as the moon landing. Neither ever happened.

I could not be more disappointed in how things have gone.

Jeff, you insult your fans by posting. Making yourself available to the fanbase is just wrong. Answering fans questions is neither Perryesque or Augeriesque. Can't you just leave us alone and let us bitch about everything?

I am still willing to give you a "chance". After all, we are owed something. Monker and I were talking the other day that we will decide what band will tour as Journey. As fans, we have paid the price, shelled out the cash and always did everything. The fact that you are an amazing talent and Neal knew it makes no difference.

At least it's not out of control personal attacks. I think that's what rankles Andrew the most. This is just nonsensical fun!

I am in full support of a Journey album focusing on Latin rhythms. I am also looking forward to a Charo album full of Styx covers and will be creating a website to support my cause.

Wow!

I could hear her doing an acoustic version of "Crystal Ball" with a Latin flavor. Good call!

I am onboard with an Journey Latin themed effort. I am also NOT yet convinced that Jeff is right for Journey. That is MY opinion. You all have yours and I have mine. Journey is NOT about the hard edged sound of JSS. Jeff has a very good voice, but Steve just basically drew me to the music. I was not into Journey after Steve Perry and Neal Schon's immature behaviour in 19996, but Mr. Augeri brought the music that I love, back to my heart...and for that I say, thank you Mr. Awesome! I will continue to support this humble and graceful man in his solo effort, and maybe, maybe I will give the new Journey a listen.

the entire hymnal? we have 400+ songs in ours-you are gonna have to wake up earlier than that.

feel free to join us in the church choir special, too--"Be Thou My Vision" arranged for harp and choir by John Rutter. :)

I personally like the harder side of Journey, i.e. EOTB, CR, DOA and all the pre-Perry instrumental/jam band stuff. SP has an amazing voice and can croon for sure but Mother Father and the like is where he really shines, IMHO. I am hoping that's where Journey is going and I am know that Jeff can bring that. of course, he can melodic rock our sox off too-I just wish for Journey to STAND UP AND SHOUT!

I was Catholic. Remember that the 1st Eucharsitic prayer made the masses 10 minutes longer. Always hoped for the 2nd or 3rd. 1 and 4 bite the big one!

You lot are sad. Get a life :D

I didn't have ANY stress this weekend, cause I didn't even turn on the computer. I could care less. Now I'll fix whatever needs fixing. Thanks T-Bone for locking this one up. It can stay that way!
