You mean those women who were banned didn't talk shit??What about all that spanish cussing and porn they were typing, including their nics? After Jeff was gone the mods translated all that.Offensive stuff to say the least. Then today the intruders had the nerve to *apologize*What if someone would have done the same shit to their beloved Tempest?
Oh well, back to beers&sports.

Aside from that it was cooler than the beer
at the bottom of the ice cooler.![]()
It was nice to see so many familiar posters.

It was just highly annoying that those few
could not follow simple rules and maximise Sir Soto's
time that he offered.

Mimi's got a gun. you know, that Aerosmith song. hehe
thanks, Jeff.
oh, it wasn't like people were talking shit or anything. they were just being selfish & typing out of turn. that cut into the time of people waiting to ask legitimate questions. it also made the chat very confusing to follow.

The dots were distracting, but it seemed the only way to actually remain connected. If you didn't type anything for a few minutes your status changed from 'active' to 'away', and a few minutes after that you got automatically logged out.
Somebody suggested pressing refresh instead, so I tried that.... and immediately got dumped right out of the chat.
Typing a dot was the least obtrusive way of remaining active and keeping your place in the queue for questions. Once you got used to seeing them from everybody it didn't really get in the way.
Maybe Nath could look at that for next time. I seem to recall the last chat we had with JSS, everybody's name appeared in the order in which they logged on, and stayed there, and this would have been easier to manage. This time, with names in alphabetical order, and continuously switching between active and away, meant that some newcomers joining late were able to jump the queue and some people with names towards the end of the alphabet had to wait until the end of the chat to get their question in.

Clicking "refresh" worked for me & I have a computer that's a big piece of garbage (lol) so I just figured it would work for everyone else.
