might i add, and i know this is selfish reasoning, but if journey was a bit more latin based, then maybe some hot latino babes would start posting here,,

I happened to like La Raza Del Sol, with that said, it is all the Latin music I want to hear from Journey. If I want to hear latin music, there are PLENTY of great latin styled artists to choose from.

Not to pick on you at all - the whole "Would sound like Santana" thing always gets me. For whatever reason the perception is that Santana IS Latin music and therefore anything anyone else does in that style MUST sound like Santana.

I don't think La Raza Del Sol sounds like Santana. It's DISTINCTLY JOURNEY to me. JOURNEY is JOURNEY. No matter what they play they will sound like JOURNEY.

And what would be the difference? Journey's rhythm is Journey's rhythm, not Latin rhythm. Again I ask, why don't you just go find a latin band that you like instead of trying to make Journey a latin band? If you want them to have the Journey sound, change them. Don't try to change Journey.

IIdon't think La Raza Del Sol sounds like Santana. It's DISTINCTLY JOURNEY to me. JOURNEY is JOURNEY. No matter what they play they will sound like JOURNEY.

The reasom why I said that, is because Neal was with Santana,that song sounds alot like a Santana song,{in my opinun} and because Neal wrote it and Journey did a a little Santana tribute a few years back.That was cool.I wouldnt want a whole album or "project" doing that kind of music when Journey is having trouble just getting any kind of music out there,yet alone a latin version of Journey.sorry for any misspelling
