HOB Reviews/Stories/Gripes/Pics/Boots???

Sorry Donna....cant help you out with the reading comprehension....or maybe just a reread is required. The dude gave me a couple passes...not a million bucks or something...and I only spent a few minutes around him.....now you think I should totally kiss his ass?....become a devoted follower and loss myself and my right to my own opinions in the process?..Make something up and call him, sweetie, honey, or my big daddy?........I personally appreciate an honest opinion from someone, but thats me... so I just wrote it how I see it....I dont have a dog in the fight.....dont have any idea on who started what, when, or where......frankly dont care.......after so much time...it all has probably evened out and both sides are equally guilty.......there will be no peace between forums until all partys take responsibility for their actions....apologize....then forgive and move on. Try being the adults they are supposed to be. .....take the high road for a change....it can feel great...Or choose to keep passing the bad vibes and everyone will continue to feel bad,,,have it affect them mentally which can eventually affect physically........and the sword gets further into the stone till eventually no one will be able to pull it out...and things are beyond repair....... so.....if you failed to comprehend what I said and did not get that it was complimentary..while also being helpful to suggest a little fence mending...........all I can do is suggest a re- read. I gave my word on doing something and I always keep my word..so I did..that's it.

Wow, I hope those passes were worth a little more to you than you are making them sound

There were a few other people that didn't get that opportunity because there weren't enough to go around, so I hope you enjoyed them more than you sound you did

The sound at HOB IMO was just fine, & SPH & I were in the balcony. I've been to way too many a concert there too (it's practically in my backyard) & that was not a wild party crowd, far from it. True it was a bit younger than the mix at Clearwater, but not wild IMO.

Guess I've been to too many truly "wild" concerts, lol.

and as usual with some of you on the board....you can only focus in on one thing said....take it out of context to what is written as a whole and then assume you have a grasp of the meaning....and lose sight of the more important points in what is said. The lack of reading comprehension amazes me...and makes a statement about the public school systems. :roll:

....I said my thanks and appreciation for the passes several times....in person and now here on the board. I appreciate it very much...and like I said...it enabled me to do something for someone else that I wanted to do....so yes THANK YOU DEANO!!........and I hope you all had a good time and partied with the booze that I gave you. My initial response was to Dean....who has the added benefit of our conversation.... so maybe you should all let the man speak for himself in response if he so chooses. If he didnt get my meaning or takes offense to something I said or how I said it...then he can say so. He's a big guy....I dont think he needs you all responding for him....especially by mis- directing it.

Are you kidding me? Reading comprehension...? Where in the hell do you get from my response that I think you should kiss anyone's ass? I read everything you said, and would rather have my fingernails pulled out one by one than re-read it. I'm not sure where you're going with all your mending fences talk, but what the hell does it have to do with the HOB show?

Seriously, TVL, it's stuff like this that's caused you trouble before. I have no intention of fighting with you, but maybe you should hit the preview button (and a few punctuation keys) before you post your next composition.

What I have said has absolutely NOTHING to do with Dean, but your comment about not caring if you met the band. There were others who missed out because you NEEDED 3 passes, and then you act like they are no big deal? That's where I take offense!

Actually I comprehend it just fine, & if I'd known this was how you'd feel after the fact when I saw Dean bend over backwards for an extra pass for you that you sprung on him at the last minute, I'd have given mine up gladly for someone who I know would have greatly appreciated it.
