My favorite comes from a place in Grapevine TX called "i Fratelli". We order the "big brother", loaded!
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

Pizzeria Uno in Chicago is the best (for deep dish) in the country and has many nation-wide awards to prove it. Unbelievably good.

Anything in New york is the best i've tasted---would like to try some in chicago i hear its also top notch. Pizza in Arizona is the worst, i didnt have great pizza in florida either, California wasnt too bad but just doesnt cut it, you can go pretty much anywhere on long island and get great pizza.

I like the Thai Chicken Pizza at California Pizza Kitchen.

But you can't beat local pizzaria's with a bunch of Italian dudes behind the counter.

Lol...here's where you and I clash. While I'm sure it's good, many would argue that what you suggested is in fact, not pizza. Rather, a spin-off. A"cousin" of pizza, perhaps.

I just remembered this place. THIS is the best pizza I have ever had.

13, you ever eat here? How bout you, TNC?

There's a little joint in Fells Point (Baltimore) called Brick Oven Pizza (BOP). Also outstanding, especially when the bars close at 2 a.m. :P AR and sting would probably agree.

Gotta agree with you there. I have always loved Uno's pizza. Especially the personal deep dish sausage.

There are some privately owned places near us that we like alot, there's one just down the road from us that has really good pizza, & then there's a place that SPH's family & mine get pizza & wings from for poker nights, lol.

But I have to say that Pizza Uno is awesome too, I love that little personal pan pizza with mushrooms, spinach, some kind of sauce that's not pizza sauce, & TONS of cheese...yum!

Shania are you sure it was safe to eat in Amsterdam? sounds very good though! If anyone ever gets to San Diego there is a suburb called Escondido and the best pizza on the planet is there. A white pizza they call it. Cheezy dough with a white wine cream sauce and thin sliced veggies and the meat of your choice if you like. Its gourmet and simply divine, all made in a little hole in the wall joint.
