Every ROR vid and boot just makes me think. My god, what happened to them ? IMHO they were a shadow of their former selves. im sorry but Perry RUNINED Journey after Frontiers. Every concert boot is a race to the finish and his poor voice. PLus the dancing of the mid eighties, and keytar and clothes. Echkkkk. Look at what happened to style after 83. God its horrible and if that shit ever comes back I will gouge out both of my eyes with a frozen turd !

Yes - such a shame they moved away from the suave, stylish look they had in the Separate Ways video. :roll:

Yes but its still way better that the bull shit paint splatter post apocalyptic neon nightmare jacket that Cain is wearing in those ROR vids. My god !

In the seperate ways vid they just kind of look like normal guys even though they are not acting like normal guys. Who's idea was that anyway ? I Can hear the director saying, " Ok Smitty, here is some oil drums and a hub cap hi hat and I want you to play it like it was a real drum set because in 25 years people will look at this video and say, man that was so cooooooollllll" I mean really, what the fuck is that shit ? If I get to meet Smitty again at this drum clinic on april 4th im going to have to ask him about that...

Sallee - this video recording of Only The Young from the ROR tour isn't on the documentary - so I was surprised to come across it on You Tube. Do you know which show this is? And you do think this was an outtake from the doc?

In the BTM Directors Cut they show a short concert clip that's just the beginning notes of Be Good To Yourself. Steve is wearing tuxedo pants, suspenders and a black tank top. Does anyone have that complete song from that concert?

I sure don't know what ROR show that video is from. I was surprised myself when I saw it up on YouTube.

It was me who uploaded that video.It's the only one I have and the person that sent it to me 2 years ago had no idea which show it was taken from and there wasn't anymore footage except this.

However,I am sure many shows from the ROR Tour were captured on film and maybe they are sitting somewhere in a vault,waiting for someone *cough*Perry*cough* to put them on a DVD!

The Only the Young video is from Fresno 86. The whole show was filmed (pro shot) along with Mountain Aire.
