It is disappointing to see that over there and I also see that the MR bashing thread has been re-opened after 10 days being closed.

The fact is that this has nothing to do with the other forum at all. Not one bit. It is all to do with exposing the threats and the abuse that this one person (with at least 2 personalities) has unleashed on me. The fact they are given free reign elsewhere to continue their adgenda is neither here nor there.

I just wanted to show people the true colours of this person.

I am not alone in being attacked by this clown. People should be aware of what they are getting into if they get on his wrong side.

..............................

My guess is that the thread was re-opened because someone from there came here and got verbable kicked in the teeth by the very person that he closed the thread for. I could be wrong.

I for one really think that it's a bad call to post all those e-mails and pm's in your years end. I thought so last year also. It's makes him want to excel, imo. If we all were to post the abusive posts, pm's and e-mails that many of us have received here, yours would look like childs play.

The thread was re-opened to create some traffic. There's more traffic in the North Pole than that place lately. It's a desperate measure to drum up something, anything to talk about. There is very little constructive debate there. It mainly consists of bashing Deano, MR and Andrew. In reality, it is NOT a Journey board. I've noticed that most of the "real" information is found on that board shortly AFTER it is posted here. As was the case with the horse Barbaro, that place is mortally wounded and will soon die. The difference is that some people miss Barbaro.

So I've noticed, I'm not a member there, I just like to keep up to date between the two forums. But there is nothing going on there. Nice Barbaro analogy!

Andrew, do you know when or if Night Ranger's new cd will be released in the US?

Hopeful, but as yet, no ETA. Japanese and European deals in place only at this point.

Great reading, Andrew. Thanks!

As far as the re-recording idea.. I think it's a trial balloon being floated out there to see what the reaction is to it. If people like the idea, it might fly. If not? Well, it'll drop.

Great read Andrew.....you did a fantastic job. Dont personally feel that the dickhead of the year part is really a needed and wise decision to include, though. Negativity breeds negativity and just spurns things on further. What is not fed cannot grow and florish. Recognition and praise given to misbehavior will just further to fan the flames......ok..thats 3 ways of saying the same thing.haha! It kinda seems neither side really wants to stop...seems the back and forth is competition to outdo in the verbal battles ...and it seems to be enjoyed at a certain level. .....if not then it could easily be slowed and eventually stopped by ignoring and not participating. JMO......if you, Dean, and this Reardon fellow ever get in a room together and hash this thing out... have a camera on hand and put it up on youtube....would make for some entertaining viewing, I'm sure. :) I also disagree with any decision on Journeys part to record the classics with Jeff. Although I think Jeff is terrific and I love his previous work and think he's singing the songs well in concert now......those are Perry's......they cant be improved on or done better so why redo them? I feel they should just move forward with new material that Jeff can make his own......then he wont have as much pressure on him by having to live up to Perrys voice and the comparisons that will be made. If he just continues to do whats been done they will not move forward and grow...and I fear he may burn his voice out too...like SA. The only way they will avoid the same path is if they come up with some great new material that Jeff can call his own and sing it in his own way without so much strain and to not remain what will be considered a coverband. 8)

Phyliss, please check yourself into the Tardhouse asap.

Andrew, Reardon and Me in the same room? To hash things out? Are you fucking serious? I can't even answer that one.

Dean and Donna...typical and expected responses where you remain and maintain the same level of intelligence that you have shown in the past. Keep up the good work ...you never fail to disappoint. Keeping your standards low is wise... when not too much is expected and you do come up with something of a higher level then it appears to show more then what is actually there. 8)

But, yet , Dean is the one you ran to to get your passes for the concert...guess he was intelligent enough to figure how to get you those....now that you have used him, you bash him!

Typical that you remain a pain in the ass, too. You're always melancholy. I've never heard anything cheerful out of you. You're psychologist-like ramblings are disturbing, as you tend to over-analyze everything. For you, everything is some deep, analytical thought process. I majored in Philosophy and took a ton of Psychology courses although I really don't get into it much. However, it is QUITE clear that you are a very bitter, disgruntled person. Usually, a picture says a thousand words, yet only one came to mind seeing yours. It starts with a "C" and ends with a "T".

and the regular crew comes in to unload their angst of the day. Might I suggest that you include yourself in the above statement because your response is not really worthy of one....but if you insist..... Favors?...I gave and was given back to in return. One hand washes the other and its even in my book. Dont even know who you are or why you are speaking on something that is not your concern and that you dont know everything about. I didnt see it as a "favor"....I saw it as an apology that was due. I also do not become so easily "owned" and cower to the demands of the pack. I am my own person with my own opinions and interests, if anyone here likes it or not...what do you think this is?...a message board or Hitlers Germany where everyone must fall in line?......I am not a sheep like some here appear to be. 8)

Getting back on track...Andrew, the awards were great. I must admit I don't know alot about many of the groups you mention, but the Journey coverage is great. And you couldn't have picked a more deserving recipient again this year. I look forward to seeing next year's winners.
