I can honestly say that I have watched a total of MAYBE 5 minutes of AI. Probably less, though.

just as i was reading this, my 16 year old came running down the stairs, "do you have any
more Van Halen? we have to get more! they are awesome! ...lol...what a shame they have
to go back 20 years to hear great music.......

It seems that when a generation hits a certain age where they have the means they will then "re-live" and recapture the things from their past. This isn't just with music - you can look on eBay and see things from the 80s like "Strawberry Shortcake doll" stuff being popular with buyers now. I think the kids from that 80s era are now the adults who loved this music & now can afford to go to the concerts. I remember in the 70s when things of the 1950s were popular...the t.v. show, "Happy Days" came out then, too. I still prefer 40s, 50s, 60s music over the 80s - Journey being the exception. Didn't really care for The Police, didn't like Madonna...I do like Genesis, 'tho. But, I would definitely take 80s music over Rap! That stuff drives me insane.
