I knew you were going here and am ready for it. Rugby blows. You don't need armour because there is NO hitting. There are scrums and contact, but I don't see 6'3 brickhouse built dude flying over the middle to decapitate someone like I do in American Football. I see a bunch of slow white guys, dancing together wrestling and discussing where to have some motor oil, err, Guiness afterwards.

I've just got one response to that. Jonah Lomu. Check him out. When he was in his prime he was 6ft 5in, 20 stone (sorry, 280 pounds) of pure muscle and could run 100 metres in ten and a half seconds. To see him running down the line at full tilt, ploughing through defences and with three opposition players being dragged along behind him like they were flypaper was nothing short of awesome. Unfortunately he was a New Zealander and it was usually English players who suffered, but we can appreciate brilliance in any nationality.
