Susie,

I went to see the Miami Dolphins v's SF 49ers at Wembley, like years ago but I was only 25 at the time and couldn't see past the cheerleaders, I'm sure it was okay. I'm guessing the cheerleaders are an intregral part of the game and the football is there as a side show...right?

You're right, I do love you!

Soccer is just pure shit.

Yay! Deano loves me. :D

I agree with you about soccer, I do.
It drives me nuts.
On the occasions when I have to endure it - World Cup etc when my partner decides to be patriotic [ ] - I just get bored with them all piddling about on the pitch.

Rugby and American football seems more exciting to me.

There are scrums and contact, but I don't see 6'3 brickhouse built dude flying over the middle to decapitate someone like I do in American Football. I see a bunch of slow white guys, dancing together wrestling and discussing where to have some motor oil, err, Guiness afterwards.

I've just got one response to that. Jonah Lomu. Check him out. When he was in his prime he was 6ft 5in, 20 stone (sorry, 280 pounds) of pure muscle and could run 100 metres in ten and a half seconds. To see him running down the line at full tilt, ploughing through defences and with three opposition players being dragged along behind him like they were flypaper was nothing short of awesome. Unfortunately he was a New Zealander and it was usually English players who suffered, but we can appreciate brilliance in any nationality.

Get it right. Only in the US is it ever called soccer. It is FOOTBALL. You know, a game played with the feet. And it is the most popular sport in the WORLD, played and watched by hundreds of millions of people in every country without exception. How many countries play American Football? How many countries play in your 'World Series'? Er.. one? Or is it two?

Many countries play Baseball. USA, Canada, Japan, Venuzeula, Peurto Rico, Mexico, Guam, Australia, and Taiwan. However, the best is played in Major League baseball.

Ah yes....Baseball. Also known as rounders. When I was at school all the girls played Rounders, thats why none of the boys played, cos it's a girly game. We stuck with Rugby and Football.

It's great to have you back!

I love it when you and Deano have a war of words.

More please.
But as you are tired, you can go and rest now, just come back soon with some witty responses.
And Deano's family tree. :D
He's obviously not going to reveal the origin of his surname.

Tired? I am never tired. I will stay up all night to keep hammering on Styxfag. He used to be cool, but I don't know what the fuck happened to him.

So I used to be cool...interesting. I can sense a twinge of sadness there  Styxfag...come on you can do better than that!

I never noticed such things. Why would I be looking at girlies in short skirts when the field was full of hunky, athletic men.

I was at the same game BTW. :)

I also saw Chicago Bears but can't remember who else. As you say it was, ahem, a long time ago.

I went to two.
I think Green Bay packers were one of 'em.
Bears and Dolphins definitely, and Redskins - but now I can't remember who played against who.

It must have been 1984/5 or thereabouts??? Doesn't matter anyway.

Worst team= Oakland Raiders

Best player= Ladanian Tomlinson, but I suggest you go with someone with some serious baggage....Terell Owens or Jeremy Shockey

Dude, you just proved that you don't know jack shit about football. Sure the Raiders have been bad for the past 4 years. They are still one of the top teams in any sport as far as winning percentage since Al took over in '63. I've been a Raider fan since 76 and there has been a heck of alot more up time than down time. Just because your dumb ass hates them doesn't make them an "awful franchise". Don't make me have to break out my Lester Hayes av :D

But you're in agreement they're currently the worst team...so that's that for now. Oakland are game for a bashing then...back to the storyboard!! Perhaps you want that kid in Nigs posts playing for you, imagine him running up the field for Oakland, those hands would knock anyone in close proximity clean out
