Jeff: would u ever sing a song like Butterfly?

Postby ArnelRox » Sat Mar 03, 2007 6:25 pm

I can't help but ask this. I'm really curious. Would Jeff sing Butterfly or a song like it at any point? Has he? I've sure heard a LOT of his back catalogue, but probably not all.

Butterfly just doesn't sound Jeff-ish to me. But a lot of Journey fans love the song. So I'm curious.

[Look I have too much time to think these days. I've been sick. So don't razz me ok?]

I doubt JSS will ever sing an Augie tune other than Remember Me, FITH and possibly Higher Place. They need to add The Place in Your Heart to the setlist. Maybe re-record that one for the next CD? Should be a huge Journey hit.

Why don't you just ask Jeff he will prance around in frilly pink little lacey panties humming "Yellow Brick Road?"

Hell fucking No he isn't singing that shit....unless he wants to meet his fate at the hands of a blog.

I can see where you 'd think that from my comment..
You think he'll dance in a frilly pink little frock if we ask him nicely? ;)

NIG, ever sleep with a pregnant girlfriend, in a bed too small? If I so much as brush her, or let out a little snore, I get a leg kick to the ass or crotch. It is a white knuckler...sleeping with a pregnant Lula.

Planning on it. We want a California King. They are super huge...There are 2 box springs supporting a mattress the size of Rhode Island. Ever heard of these beds back there in the east, NIG?

That just might be the only thing Jeff could do that would seriously disappoint me, :( well, short of leaving Journey.

Yeah, but there is such a thing as TOO big. How big is your bedroom? We have a king, and it is perfect.

One and only chance to hear Butterfly live was for Clint, there and those who were in Irvine opening night, and those lucky enough like me (MONSTER Holla to the debonaire NoMoreTails for that) to have the boot.
Unless Augeri recovers and tours.

I'm w/ NIG work up The Place In Your Heart next. Wanna hear the new live Faith In The Heartland, is that booted yet?

Yep...that is one song I CANNOT stand! :? Beyond the Clouds I can tolerate, but Butterfly...uh-uh! IF he'd ever do it live, that would be a bathroom/drink run for me.

California King is great if you are tall, they are longer than a regular King but not wider. Pillow tops are essential, especially when you are pregnant.

Standard Mattress Sizes

Crib Mattress: 28" x 52"
Twin / Single Mattress: 39" x 75"

Full / Double Mattress: 54" x 75"

Long Twin Mattress: 39" x 80"

Most beds in college dorms are long twins
Queen Size Mattress: 60" x 80"

King Mattress: 76" x 80"

California King: 72" x 84"

good idea. put all the decorator pillow between you-but DON'T sleep on those pillows!! that equals instant death.

you'll really need the bed AFTER the birth cuz it will be all 4 of you!

let them sleep with you when they are little. it is not that long. and it will be really weird when your sons are 16 if they sleep in your bed.  they grow up so fast.

oh- topic.

I didn't love Butterfly. but Jeff could nail that song, as he does all of them. it would be better, in fact. I might actually like it then. 8) but, I vote no. STAND UP AND SHOUT!! now that's it!

my friends at the guitar center asked me yesterday if Jeff had sung STAND UP AND SHOUT with Journey yet.  No, sez I, cuz I would have dropped dead on the spot.

Then it was just sarcasm in this post right?
