No he's not the only one that feels that way. I hear some people are walking out of concerts. You people here are so pro JSS that you only see and hear what you want to hear.

You say it like it's a bad thing? I fully admit to being very pro Perry/pro JSS, because I DO like what I see and hear.........it's really that simple. And I haven't, nor will I, bash anybody if they don't like SP or JSS. There seems to be a message board for everybody out there, like-minded people tend to congregate with other like-minded people. :)

Exactly, so maybe this Fly would be happier if it buzzed on over to Augeriville to congregate.

Don't psychotics like us that reside here, when following the TEXTBOOK pattern, usually get their starts by pulling the wings off of flys?

It's a great thing. I am really happy for you all. I really have little interest in this band anymore which is sad I guess. It just doesn't sound like "Journey" anymore to me. I have no problem that they changed singers. But they way it happened sucked. :? There are many of us who think they could have made a better choice, not talent-wise, Journey-wise. 8)

I do agree with you, the way it happened, sucked. But I couldn't be happier with the end result. Your opinion is fine, it just vastly differs from mine is all. :) After seeing clips of Message of Love, I'll Be Alright Without You, Chain Reaction, etc. I thought they sounded very much like Journey. I think it is a great fit, JSS has that same Perry passion, yet different enough delivery to not come off as a clone.

Yeah we all have different opnions don't we. And Larry, Yes, I have some of JSS's solo stuff and love it. I do not question his talent or abilty in any way. His style or voice for me is just hard to get used to in Journey.

Good work, NealIsGod. :)

One time I'm flipping through channels and I stumble across a movie w/ Stoltz who has this girl bent jackknifed over a table doing what comes naturally and I laughed and laughed and laughed and laughed and LAUGHED by myself because all I could think of was Rocky Dennis.

You could not make that story up, btw.

Oh, you must be one of those people who only listen to the surface and the high notes and don't care about the heart and soul of the music. I'm really sorry that you can't hear beyond that. Maybe you will someday. :D

Oh, If I wanted high notes I'd be a rush fan wouldn't I. No slur to rush fans - Rush have without a doubt the best rock drummer in the business.

When I see Journey though, I don't want to see a rock/metal band I want to see Journey and to me JSS isn't the ideal fit.

The fact that Journey continues is enough though and I'll go see them again because it's Journey. That's just an opinion and like a thousand or two others on Monday night I was just happy to see Journey even with the cruddy sound.

Well, I'm listening to last nites show from Manchester...sure sounds like Journey to me only with a great lead singer with lots of talent and charisma and a strong voice unlike the last lead singer...

What are these people listening to? If it's boots then maybe I can understand a little bit, but they have got to see him live...oh my,my,my,my, they are sure missing Journey...

The sound was cruddy at Nottingham on Monday night - not a reflection on Jeff or anyone in the band it was just cruddy acoustics or a cruddy sound system on the night but it was fair to say the sound was just to make the point again ... cruddy.

Isn't that the kind of president we have?

That's really what it comes down to. It's not prefering one voice over the other. It's prefering something real over prefering something thats fake, false, a fraud....

I was never an Augeri fan myself. & if u read my sig or look at my avatar, u can see that arguing this w/me is pretty ridiculous. However for some people it really is about preferring one singer over the other. I've talked to a few intelligent people on this board in PM & they really do prefer Augeri's voice over Jeff's. Some of them even prefer Augeri's voice over Perry's. I've asked them if they can hear properly & decided they actually can.

We all have our own individual tastes & while I might think those people have strange tastes, I have no right to deny them their tastes.

I don't like broccoli but a lot of people do. I don't even like fake broccoli for that matter.
