Second night in Manchester already up on Dime

Only one seeder right now, seeing as it was added literally ten minutes ago. Quick turnaround. Setlist looks great with Mystery Mountain, Remember Me, Opened The Door and Where Were You.

Can't wait to give this one a listen, too.

From this day out I only listen to people that have appeared on American Idol. I threw away my Jrny and Kiss collection this morning. I am so in love with Kelly Clarkson, Simon, Randy Jackson and Taylor Hicks that I cannot listen to any song that they have no involvement in. I think Bo Bice should be in the Hall of Fame this year. I wish Carrie Underwood would perform Line of Fire. That is the only way I would listen to that song. I hope everything is ok with Clay Aiken. I have not heard anything about him this week. He is my favorite Idol. Man the drugs are kicking in.

It'll be out soon anyway so i thought I'd beat you all to the punch....it's been a rough 6 shows the 1st 7 days in, with travel, time zone changes, a few flues bashing band & crew, as well as, well, we're not exactly spring chickens out here! To make matters worse, tonight's show Deen fell out, congestion got the better of him before the show & he warned before it started that I might need to take the whole thing....this with me being trashed from the many songs I do already! Tonight, I got to do Open Arms, Who's Cryin Now & Faithfully amongst the other 20 some odd songs I normally do, it was insane my voice held out, but we got through it with a fun show to boot (not as bootleg, you bad, bad people!).

Normally I am thrilled to get to do the whole show but could have easily not chosen tonight of all nights, as we tried to make the set a little different from the 1st night in Manchester, but added more songs than usual, I think we clocked in at 2 hours 10 min tonite!

Gonna go pass out now, I have 24 hours of silence to enjoy before doing another 2 in a row, hopefully stay clear of these damn viruses & get home with the voice I came out here with, ha ha!!

I noticed the addition of two songs in the set, Jeff. I counted a total of 28 ! Damn, that made for a killer show.

I do hope Deen gets better. :D

OK, cool, just checking....seems the parodies run rampade around here with the Chewbacca, Guarini bullshit, not being your 'average white dude' as most probably are here, people tend to forget it can look like a racial dig once in a while...I'm down with any kind of humor & sarcasm but it goes a little far here sometimes & some don't realize it can be offending....all good!!

You went down with a bang not a whimper old bean!

The audience were quiet, the set was different, the vibe was uncertain at the start but what came out was a bravura performance (warts and all). Neal was electric, JC brilliant, Ross his idiosyncratic best on bass and Deen, well despite his obvious (visual) struggling excelled on skins focusing on the job at hand. You, well you delivered in spades. I'm biased of course but this Journey novice loved every jot, tittle, quaver and riff from the moment that iconc 'Who' track wound down to the 'move along now ladies and gents please'. Biggest thrill for me 'Faithfully' and 'Send Her My Love' - both tracks I've heard you do a thousand times on JSSB tours, but in this context they shone like the Kohinoor diamond.

What a night - Journey beat the crap out of the manchester Apollo and Man U did the same to Lille.

See you in Brumingam

You are correct when you say After The Fall wasn't played, it was Send Her My Love, however, Any Way You Want It was played right after DSB. Jessie Rides is actually Still They Ride. This set list is from the person that recorded the set, Clasicrockldy just copied and pasted it here for you good people to read.

Jeff,

The key to singing for long periods of time when you have sand in your vagina is to gargle chocolate pudding before you go on.

Just kidding man. hope Dean gets better and hope your cords hold up for you. God that must be scary up there singing that shit and thinking "any sec now I could go CRACK" and it could be gone for the rest of the show. What the hell do you do if you voice decides to shut down your upper register in the middle of a fucking show ?!?! I would just stand there and piss myself.

MarkH.,

I just downloaded and extracted the files from the show, and it does look like they did "Any Way You Want It" and Separate Ways". "Send Her My Love" , "Opened the Door", and "Where Were You" are on the setlist this time. :D
