Taking a shot here.....

Postby Soto All The Way » Fri Mar 09, 2007 5:06 am

I want to publicly apologize for some of the things that I said in the past to Andrew, Deano, and Lu. While maybe they were my thoughts at the beginning of this whole process(TG), now that I look at it from an outsiders projection, it was pretty wrong what the band did. Whe you are as passionate about someone and have actually gotten to know this person and let him interect with my family, you are atleast going to back him at first. I think this is understandable.

I would appreciate being allowed to interact here with you guys and hope you except my apologies. I actually do agree with much of what you guys in here say and would like to correspond with ya. I have ben going though some tough times with the fire department and so bad calls and so forth and really need to just chill a bit. Spring has sprung and I plan to do so here in the 'Burgh.

Again, please, forgive and let's move forward!!!! Deano, I'd still like to pop you when I see you though brother!!! lol

Deano, how 'bout the 'Quins??? Not looking good!!!!

Since this is your first post under this nic, maybe your apology would have more weight if you at least told us your previous nic...

That's Jrny1. He's said plenty of shitty things about me as well. Though Stu swears he's a good guy. I can't really comment.

BTW e, those belts are worth $1500 to $2000 a piece, just an FYI.

I'm alot like you. I run fire sites for llcal fire department s and would love to make the private. You just struck a nerver with me.

Also, I collect salesman Sample Super Bowl Rings. MY friends and wife think I'm crazy. I have all the Patriots, The Raves and I'm working on the news Steelers ring. I lift with a few and know a few Steelers in the off season. So, I'm cool with your belts. Big WWE fan too. My kids have gotten me back into it lately.....Again Sorry. I don't know what else to say...Let Deano beat the fuck out of me for a day and then I'll be cool!!!!

I dig the saleman sample Super Bowl rings. I've been tempted on ebay sometimes when I see them up for auction. All I have is the Ravens one that they put out in the cube now every year. Having a real one though would be awesome.

Most of those belts are from the NWA promotion from the 70's and 80's. I don't watch that much anymore, but the old belts that I used to see as a kid are what I like to collect. For those who have no idea about that hobby - this is the site to the best handcrafted championship beltmaker out there:

Funny your should say that. I had the opportunity to buy(bid) Bob Backlunds old red leather belt with the gold plated front, but backed out. It was when he was running for office and was at the Civic Arena in Pittsburgh. Strange guy. Defintely needed medication.

I also wrestled and did not persoanlly like Kurt Angle in my HS days. He was at Mt. Lebanon and I was at Baldwin. Same section, same weight, so we met each other twice a year. ((((HEAD DOW))) he beat me. Christ he's a Olympic Gold Medalist...he better have. We talk at the Pittsburgh shows if I go. My kids are a little young to experience the RAW crowd, so I haven't gone in four years. I do however see hi at the WPIALS Championships and semi finals.....Nice guy.

The blue/grey one is a replica of Backlund's belt from 1980. By that time the gold pllating had worn off so that is why it looks that way.

Feel free to fire up some replica ring pics.

Cool stuff!

That will be my next expensive hobby. First I started with guitars, then belts, Super Bowl rings sounds like a good place to move to next. Just another thing to piss my wife off with. 8)

Ok, I can move forward and accept this. But I still have a vivid memory of the things posted about me in another forum, so let's see what you have to offer.

If it is all good, then that will be appreciated.

It's all good Ed. No problem.

I know this entire episode has brought forth some high emotions. I expected to be yelled at and such. Recently, I just experienced a scary life altering scare, and trust me, I now see the world through my own eyes very differently.

Lets stick with "e" for Jrny1 (like the dude on Entourage - my new favorite show). Avoids confusion.
