Cheers 7. Is this track - Last One More Time - actually by Journey?

OK, you caught me. That's a Hugo track. It's one of about six on the self-titled CD he put out in 2001 that are just unbelievable. I'm hoping some Perryheads out there will listen to this, finally understand just how amazing Hugo is, and buy his CD's.

Good tune. I actually prefer it to most of the tracks on "Arrival" and "Generations". :)

Well, I couldn't be happier about JSS being in the band. But that goes to show you what Journey could have accomplished since 1998 if they'd had a guy with a voice like Hugo's, or Jeremey's.

Dude, no. I'm trying to get my hands on anything he's done at this point. What a f***ing voice, and what a stage presence! I think I'm gonna do the Dead thing with Journey next summer...except no freakin' $2 grilled cheese sandwiches. Those things will kill ya.

Dude, that's me. It's lame, but my kid took the picture, and he's a headbanger (five years old, plays the drums, keys & guitar already) and he wanted me to use that as the Avatar. I played (proper) football for a long time, and I was cited for outstanding achievement in the field of mediocrity. Such is life.

Larry, thanks much, dude. Unbelievable. JSS is f***ing AWESOME. AND melodic, I might add.

Sam Cooke. Jeez, you'd think the guy was talented or something, or that he influenced some contemporaries.

Well thank you for saying so.
However, if you call me a dude again I just
may kick you in the clock.
Wow, I really thought you were a feetball player
or someone I had seen in headlines somewhere.
Never mind me, I'll just go back to the Booze thread where
I understand more.

He omits my personality in this pic you see, that is why
it is my choice, best pic of Perry ever!, IMHO of coarse.
Make no mistake and don't ever listen to Dean'o on this
but Moon Beam be all female.

The Wigger...I'm starting to put this all together now...my ex used to laugh at the way SA would prance around up there...I will confess I was psyched in 1998 but that i because I was on life support from 12 years with no Journey tour.

Ok, just looking at the 4 tracks ( not the one by Hugo). I have these already.

1 & 3. One More Time-Steve Perry does this with another person, but I haven't found any info on it.

4. It's Over- Forrest McDonald with Steve Perry on backing vox.

5. If Only For The Moment, Girl - Steve Perry. On the Album "USA for Africa".

Sal, I was told that it was Lincoln Brewster on that song with Steve. I can't say that's absolutely true, but I the person who told me that hasn't been wrong about anything else regarding Perry.

[b]Hmmm some interesting info, Sherrie. Lincoln Brewster. I wonder if it would of been a song that didn't make FTLOSM or was on one of Lincoln's cd's....... :D

"One More Time" has been around for many years. It was left out of FTLOSM,Steve recorded it in 1994 with Lincoln Brewster.

But...why do you all say you don't know too much about it? :? The song is on the FTLOSM remaster, liner notes and all.

I haven't had a chance to read the liner notes, Shania, my friend ! You know why I am so busy !

Actually now, I am on lots of rest because I pulled a muscle that goes from front to back and over my right hip. I don't know how I pulled it, but it does hurt. The Physician's Assistant said it would take some time to heal. Since this happened, I have been reading books. :D

Oh my...I am so sorry to hear that,Sal! :( What in the world have you done to pull a muscle like that??
Well,it's strange but sometime you can do some sudden movements but you don't feel pain right away and you keep going...
Then it just starts hurting and you can't remember when or how it happened, you know?

Make sure you take good care of yourself!
Careful...Reading can become addictive.
