For anyone that EVER has an opportunity to see this band...DO IT!!!! I PROMISE, YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!!

They were INCREDIBLE last night! Flawless performance!!!!

"stepping into the role of perry, singer jeremey hunsicker pays homage to his lifelong idol with a phrasing and range that has drawn the obvious comparisons his entire career. As a dynamic showman who can effortlessly make "love" a six syllable word, jeremey is at home on the stage, drawing the audience into his world and making no excuses for his dead-on interpretations of the classics." (borrowed text, but couldn't have said it better...)

Here's a sample... (not last night's show)

If at all possible, I think Jeremey sounded even better last night than he did in that video Donna. I got a little weak in the knees when he hit those soaring high notes.

Well, no one in our party did. Somebody made a big puddle of something right in front of the stage though. On the way home my daughter told me that was the reason she pulled me back and to the side, somebody spilled something, but at the time I was so transfixed on the show that I didn't even see what happened.

Dave, it was so great!!! They were on fire, and they had a REAL stage and could actually move around!!! AND SO COULD I!!!! Me, Trav, Joe, and Sherrie were even dancing a little! MUCH better venue than the Clarendon Grill.

Yes, Sherrie, you're right. They were BETTER last night than in the youtube clip, but I had to give the folks something...I wanted to record some of it last night, but as you know, my camera died!!!

The combination of Mother, Father and WCTNGOF back-to-back was incredible! There were a few nice/funny surprises too. I had M/F dedicated to me (hope that's not a hint, dear...) and Sherrie got up on stage when "Oh Sherrie" was performed. And of course, there was that other 'mishap', but that's for others to share...

Oh, and BTW, Sherrie's daughter is really cool too! We gotta get her signed on with us! 8)

Donna, Holly's got the video of Oh Sherrie on her camera, I'm not sure if she recorded it or Travis, but she doesn't have the cord to upload it. :x

She also doesn't know how to email it to me, but she's working on that.

I don't think she'd ever get into messageboards because her job has just about burned her out on dealing with people on the internet, but she'll be coming to more functions.

Thanks you guys for coming to the show. We had an absolute blast!! You northern Virginia people are really getting the short end of the stick with those tiny stages up there, and I'm glad we had some room to move around. Travis, thanks for having us break out "Mother, Father" last night - We hadn't played that one in about 4 months and it was long overdue.

I know we didn't get any pics last night, but there were lots of cameras all around. If I come across any photos anywhere I'll cop them and post a few. Would love to see any pics of the performance from after "Can't Tame The Lion" onward, as it's always nice to have a little variety in the wardrobe department, was getting a little tired of the black leather all the time.

Hope to get back to Bentley's again sometime this spring, as they had a great staff and plenty of room for everyone!

The image of you sitting on the edge of the drum riser with your legs and arms crossed over certain areas will be indellibly burned into my memory... Hilarious!!!

Jeremey, I posted a few pics over at the Annex, but my camera 'died' before I got any video...

Well now that I have a chance to get on hear and say something, I'll throw my two-cents in on it.

That was absolutely the BEST freakin show I've been to in a loooooooooooong time. Jeremey and the guys absolutely ROCKED Bentley's. I can't hear shit now but it was well worth it.

Jeremy,
I sincerely appreciate you breaking out "Mother, Father" (and no that wasn't a hint Dear, just know you like the song....See try to do something nice and look what I get :D ). As always, you guys kicked ass on that song (as well as all the others) You and all the guys in the band are seriously class acts. I really enjoyed being able to hang out after the show and having a chance to talk with the guys in the band. Again, Class Acts all the way.

I can't wait for the next chance to see you guys play. Please keep us updated on the Roanoke gig in June and any other gigs you may have coming up in the months between. We will definitely be making plans to attend that one.

Sherrie,
It was great to finally meet you and your daughter. Look forward to meeting up again in May. I had a great time hanging out with everyone.

Barry is freakin' awesome!!!! What a hound, too! As good as the music at the Clarendon was (as evidenced by this clip) it was hard to enjoy it because the venue was IMO over-filled, and the patrons were very rude. Last night, however, was a much better location with more room to move around. They were dead-on with their performances too! The two guitarists and bass player were all over the place, and seemed to really be enjoying themselves. The band dynamics were great~it was evident that the guys love what they do!!!

I think I told Joe at one time during the show, when Barry was down on the floor hamming it up for those girls , that he looked like he was channeling Neal. He's got all the moves as well as tearing it up on that guitar. The way the guys interact with each other and the crowd make the show a lot of fun to watch while you're listening to a totally kick-ass band.

Jeez... just trawled youtube .... loads a clips of Jeremey up there with Frontiers.... still think, as great as JSS is turning out to be..... the custodian of the original Journey sound is definitely Jeremy!

Listening to J, there is absolutely no difference between him and Perry at his best.... its that simple.

Wish these guys would do a low key UK tour.... reckon they would do well!!
