Ok stop it. Brad was great yeah. But dude check yourself. He was NOT even close to Perry in any category. None. don't call me lifeless because I am responding to your recent claim, which is retarded. Betterthan Perry. oh ok. Jesus Christ. Brad was good, but not close to Stephen.
Yes, I respect his contributions but enough already. Yeah call me a heartless cocksucker, but come on, he isn't Ghandi, Gorbachev, Springsteen, McCartney or Christ. He is Brad Delp. A good singer, but dude NOT Steve fucking Perry.
Let's not let emotion cloud our vision.

Police departments in small towns (like Atkinson, NH) go out of their way to never announce such sad events, publically. Most insurance companies will not pay on a death claim, if the manner of death is ruled a suicide. Because of that, these small police departments feel as though they would be doing the family a huge disservice to make such a pronouncement.
On another note, the fact that the local police chief came out so quickly and said, unequivocally, that foul play was not involved is definitely a bit curious. As someone who worked as a police officer for many years, I can tell you that is not the normal protocol. Just because a death scene doesn't appear to be in complete disarray or there weren't any signs of forced entry into someone's home doesn't mean you rule out ANYTHING, that early on in an investigation. Anytime an apparently healthy 55 year old turns up dead, with no known health issues, there will ALWAYS be (and should be) an investigation! I just found it VERY odd that I saw the police chief in Atkinson turn up on the local news, the very evening of Brad's unfortunate passing, with such conclusive results!

This is from the King Biscuit Flour Hour. This was in the 80s.
Yes, Brad was great, but this was not one of the best lives shows that I heard. He was a bit flat up there. That was part vocal technique and likely not being able to hear, as the stage volume was pretty hot. They had no IEMs back then.

Perry didn't walk on water either. Guys like Ronnie James Dio who still performs at an incredible level in his 60's impress me much more than Perry.
SP was incredible, but I would have liked to have seen a larger body of work and see how he would have adapted as a performer as he aged. However, he has denied us all of that pleasure.

Maybe it's because He never "quit" for real.
Maybe He did enough while He was on Earth.
