I didn't think this was a Willie Nelson song (and yes, I know he released his version of the song in 1982). Elvis' version was actually released 10 years earlier in 1972. It turns out that the song was originally recorded by Brenda Lee (of Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree fame) a year earlier in 1971. I definitely prefer the Elvis version of that song!
