Thanks very much I'd have missed this otherwise. Makes it so much more enjoyable to watch when you can say "I was there"! It's incredible the way Jeff has grown into the songs over the months - like many here I didn't think he was right for the band based on the early boots but I could not be happier to have been proved wrong. Jeff Scott Soto is THE MAN :D

I can remember the haters going "JSS is singing an octave down" and crap like that.

Jeff kicked that song's ass. Nice.

Daaaamn! Some of those notes that Jeff is hitting, well, wow. Also, nobody has mentioned Deen's solo yet, but that was pretty awesome to behold, as well. A full video boot of this show would sure be nice!

Jeff's hitting those notes as good as Perry did. Perry even avoided some of those notes on given nights!

i agree... but... is jeff going to hurt his voice doing this? i miss jeff's deeper voice. maybe it's just this song... not a favorite. some of those notes sounded too high... ouch. }:C)

can't wait for the new cd... where jss will really come into his own... with journey. }:C)

I think I read he is using his "head voice" to reach the high notes. I think it might cause less strain to his voice as he seems to be easily hitting them now and yes, I can't wait for some new music too!

I know he has a coach working with him, I don't think the coach is going to advise him to hit those notes if it will hurt his career. I just hope he takes care of it and does what he's supposed to do to keep it in good shape.
