WHY....WHY....WHY!!!!!!!

Please tell me why Duke is hated????

Yes Duke will probably be out very early in the tournament. They have played terrible this year. They drew the #6 seed and their first game is against Virginia Commonwealth and, as sad as it is to say, that is probably going to be a very tough game for them unless they decide to show up and play ball. This year has been very disappointing for me as a fan, but I do believe that next year will be a different story. I can sit here and "shoulda, coulda, woulda" all day long about people leaving early for the NBA or transferring to another school, but in the end it doesn't matter. We blew it this year plain and simple but I'll tell you this...

I tell you what Dean, if the stars align in the proper pattern and the Basketball Gods smile upon us then maybe...MAYBE, we can hope for a Duke vs. UCLA match-up in the Sweet 16.

...There that's probably better...

Yea it was a bit of a rant, but I just don't understand why everybody jumps all over Duke and paints them to be this absolutely horrible team but never gives a reason besides the same old shit.

I dunno.
At the end of the day, in the big spotlight the Dukies are going to be a tough out even if only due to the mystique factor.

Prolly another Sweet 16 for them I see.

What, you mean Allen "Georgetown Ejamacashin" Iverson being too "sick" to praytiss but then spotted at the craps tables in AC leaving shitty tips for the dealers doesn't make you wanna root for him?

I interned for kelvin Sampson at WSU. He is a good coach, but slips in the postseason.

Gonzaga matches up well. GU by 4.

Cool!

And yeah, Im certainly not putting any money on the Hoosiers this year :(

But I think the future is bright for Sampson there.

Not all Dave.

GOODBYE COACK K and DUKE!

I can't wait to see him all teary eyed in the press conference reiterating how "these kids deserve more." Yeah dude, Duke "kids" work so much harder than Carolina kids, Indiana kids, Xavier kids, Virginia kids or even Washington State kids.

Dean,

They had 2 freshman, 2 sophomores, and a junior as their starting lineup. What the hell do you expect? Give it 2 years, and we'll see what Duke's got.

I'm fairly certainly Coack K knows exactly what he's dealing with. He'll be back!

Waa waaaa.

Not my problem. That's Damiens' choice to play underclassmen, not mine. Fucker looks like Count Chocula.

A lot of teams are that young and some younger. Even Washington State is younger, and they won, and they played in a tougher conference.

Donna, the world doesn't revolve around Coach K and Duke University.

Goodbye, Duke!!! Woo hoo!

They're a bunch of elitist, overprivileged white kids. I live in North Carolina, and I've been up there more than once, and the students are almost despicable. I didn't really have anything against Duke until I moved down here. Now, other than having Syracuse win the whole thing, all that matters to me is that Duke loses. BTW, Syracuse got royally screwed by not getting into the tourney. Villanova made it as a #9 seed with the same overall record and a worse conference record, AND they lost to Syracuse in the first round. Someone explain to me how they still got in.

The fact that Duke has ANY upperclassmen is a privilege. No-one worth a dime stays in school anymore, nor should they. Just look at what happened to that kid on Detroit. Anyway, most schools have 1 or 2 seniors at the most, and have to start freshmen and sophomores. It's not like it used to be. There are no excuses. Duke lost to a pansy team, and it's great.

Anyway, I have a feeling it'll either be UNC or Pitt...don't ask me why. I always finish dead last in office pools.

Pit, NO WAY. They will get rolled by UCLA IF They get that far.

UNC was up by 27 points and E Kentucky got it to within 4 points!

Either way, this NCAA tournament is awesome, especially when your alumni are still in it.
