we've seen these, but it's always fun to watch again…and again…and again…

it was such an energetic performance, i thought i was gonna come unglued just watching it on tv. that was when my family first realized something had gone terribly wrong with my childhood.

I vaguely remember this show (Friday's). :)

I really enjoyed watching these again.I don't remember seeing Steve so revved up before!
I bet it was quite amazing to be in that audience so close to the band. :)

Thanks for posting,Fred.

VERY COOL!!
I remember LOONG before the days of VCR's,staying up late and recording the audio with my portable cassette tape recorder.
Thanks for bringing back a very sweet childhood memory!

Great vids. Perry simply on another level from any rock singer who ever lived, IMO.

Mike, I remember those days, too. I used to hold a portable tape recorder up to my sister's stereo speakers and record her Eagles, Van Halen and Led Zeppelin records. God, we're old.

The video isn't too clear but if you look closely you might be able to see that the two ladies sitting on the inside aisle seats a few rows up and on the left (if you are looking from the stage) are Steve Smith's then wife (Susan) in the aisle seat clapping like crazy and next to her is Steve Perry's then girlfriend, Sherrie. Steve runs up the aisle several times to sing to them.

These are two of my favorite performances. I still vividly remember watching it when it aired live. ahhhh. memories.

Ok, so I'm not seeing things. That is Perry's Oh Sherrie in the audience. Thought so. Chic has good hair!

I know for sure that I have the whole concert on video where "Kohotek" is on. I might have the first one as well. 8)

I LOVED the La Do Da(sp?) vid, GLY!! These are really fun to watch--I can't believe he can hit that high note just by pulling it out of the air. Loved the harmonies, too, as usual!

I KNOW!!!!

I think KOHUTEK is the song of the century. 8) well, maybe not but ya know, I just really like it. hehe

If Journey did these instrumental jams, Jeff could take a quick break. gotta take care of our brothah and the chords, eh?

LOL, sexy jumpsuit? Here ya go. They don't pan in as much on Neal and Ross, and if they are moving too fast, can be blurry....sorry. I'm glad I kept this old program, lets me screen cap from pretty much any dvd. So if anybody wants a certain shot from a certain vid or concert let me know and I'll see if I can screen cap it for ya. :)
