I live in phoenix--all i know is its smaller(tucson) --has alot of crime, drugs and gangs, temps are brutal 7-8 months out of the year, winters are nice weather---it doesnt rain ever here, im talking 5 days a year would be a lot------its boring ,i can tell you that---prices for rent are going thru the roof--used to be real cheap here---that was an allure, but now its changing and its changing quick.

Pretty for a day or so then it gets boring, there are some places to go in Arizona but to live here i would recommend the northern part of the state as opposed to the southern.

Living in Az?

Postby SueinFlorida » Mon Mar 19, 2007 2:14 am

I lived in Phoenix , Arizona for about twenty years and loved it. I also lived in Tucson for about eight months and hated everything about it. The difference between Phoenix and Tucson is like night and day. Now I live in Florida and would go back to Phoenix in a heartbeat.

That's interesting. How far apart are those two cities?

Florida is hell in the summer. Great from October through April.

In FL we just spend 5 months in the air conditioning instead of 5 months snowed in with the heat on! It's a good trade off :) I do miss snow though!

Deano is right that Phoenix is about an hour and a half from Tucson. The difference between Phoenix and Tucson is not about the weather. It's about the style of living and the difference in the people. Phoenix is a big city and Tucson is much smaller.

Living in AZ?

Postby SueinFlorida » Mon Mar 19, 2007 5:49 am

I guess the main reason I'm not that fond of Florida is the weather (humidity, hurricanes, bugs, etc.). We moved here because of my husband's business. My kids love it here and don't miss Arizona. Also most of my family is in southern California and Arizona. I can take the heat in Arizona better than the humidity here.

No don't really want to move there. Get out of school in July. Looking at Jackson TN, Nashville TN over to East TN, and of course back some where on the MS coast or AL coast.

reason I was asking got a package from someone in AZ that was made out to my daughter in care of me. Name was M. Miller. We do not know anyone from there or in AZ period. Inside was a a picture with a cloth in it saying Princess Chelsey sleeps here" Wondering who the crap this is. kinda of freaky some stranger sending my daughter something. But we are sending it back Monday.-ERIC

Damn, that is scary, Eric. I would want to find out who the hell that person was, and how they got your address, etc. I know it would bug the crap out of me until I found out who it was and why they did it.

Eric, have you reported this to the Post Office? This sounds like something the Postal Authority needs to look into.

Agreed SJ. I am beginning to think you are my evil twin...you are starting to mirror me in many ways and I love it dude. We can take over cyberspace.:)

ERIC, that IS fucked up, and should not be treated lightly. I can laugh now, but I got all kinds of "Surprise mail" at the height of Tapegate; some of it would blow you all away.

In any event, the Postmaster should be on this, asap. Joke or not, this could be serious.

Spot on. Eric, assume the worst. Assume that this creep IS indeed real and he IS stalking/obsessing over your daughter. Personally, I would see if the police would be willing to fingerprint the package. With the Runion and Lunsford cases being so high profile in the last few years police will NOT take this sort of thing lightly. Nor should they. Here's to that motherfucker getting hit by a train. Deano would be more than happy to oblige I'm sure.
