Another question for Jeff and Journey

Postby another-journey » Wed Mar 07, 2007 6:09 pm

Hi Jeff and Journey.
I read that your European tour goes well and 20 March you`ll be in Holland Amsterdam to play for the dutchies.
When You(Jeff) were here with Soul sirkus in De Boerderij Zoetermeer Holland I gave you a CD of my tribute Band called Another journey. I hoped that you and Neal were going to listen to that CD at that time.
My question is did you took the time to listen to it???????
We do a great job for you at this time because we play your music for the unknown journey people.
And every time we played in some venue the fans and non fans loves it.
I hope you give me a answer because i asked you several times on your private website.
So did you listen to it and are you Jeff, Neal, Ross, Jonathan and Dean aware that there is a DUTCH journey tribute band called ANOTHER JOURNEY (http://www.anotherjourney.nl)

It never ceases to amaze me how many sigers out there do a "passable" Perry ..seems your guy is no exception... a good...solid version of the song.... the only down side being, I guess is that "non English" speaking singers tend to phrase a little bit unusually..although your guy pulls it off quite well..I for sure would go see them if they ever toured the UK... guitarist "burns" the fret board quite well during the solo too!

All in all..... "nice"

heres the link to the bands page... more audio there;

Never got listen to it & somehow I think it was lost...the track posted was a bit 'Top 40 band sounding but it's hard to get into most tribute bands as they're really just bands doing their interpretations of the songs as opposed to being able to truly copy them....in that case, valiant effort :)

Music good, falsetto bad.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

Hi Jeff.
Thanks for your respond
Off course it sounds a bit top 40 that`s because of the equipment we use during our gigs.
We don`t have that kind of stuff the real journey use.
But anyway i`m glad you took the time to write your toughts about my band.
ANOTHER JOURNEY http://www.anotherjourney.nl

I can take a new copy of the cd with me tonight cause i will be in Paradiso Amsterdam to see you perform.
I`m the man with a ANOTHER JOURNEY t-shirt on.
See you tonight Jeff and the rest of the band.
P.S. i`m the leadsinger of Another journey TONY

Journey was good in Amsterdam last night
I`ll give my big thumb up for Ross "the rock of the band" Valory
Without him journey would be like sand thru your hands.
