Vary wel putt, IMHO!

And as long as we're at it... I would like to point out there are vast differences between:

your & you're

their & there & they're

AND the mother of all things that piss me off, there is NO such word as "supposably" and there is NO such thing as "bald" faced lie. So knock all THAT shit off too. :x

Let us not forget....to, too, and two!!!! I'm convinced that the ubiquitous computer has turned everyone's brain into mush! Nobody knows how to fucking spell, any longer! Not to mention, it seems as if people simply aren't capable of articulating complete sentences! C'est La Vie!

I hate "irregardless". :? "Regardless" is fine as is.

And people who use 2 and 4 instead of to and for. I think someone in here does that...

I don't care about any of the abbreviations, but use a f**king apostrophe when you're supposed to...PLEASE!!!! And, like Dean said, we don't need run-on sentences with 12 of these.............. between them. Makes a post very difficult to read and interpret, and therefore downright boring.

JMHO, of course!!!

Oh, and another thing...I really hate it when people will take a post and break down EVERY DAMN SENTENCE into a seperate (misspelled on purpose  ) quote so they can respond to each one. Their posts wind up being a full page long!!!

THANK you. That was my other one.
I had a third one that I knew annoyed me and couldn't think of it as I was posting (because I was too, not 'to', wound up about "bald" faced lie).

And since we're on a Journey forum here, there are entirely too damn many people who call themselves Journey fans and can't spell their names. I don't wanna point fingers - ok that's a lie, I do. Loons, pay attention because like it or not, there was life after Perry and if you are gonna post on these sites, at least spell the band members names right.

It's Deen, not Dean. It's Neal, not Neil. It's Jon, not John (it actually IS 'John' but he doesn't use that).

And honestly, how is it that so many people do not know that it's Sherrie, not Sherry or Sherri?
It's the name of the SONG for fucks sake. It's right there on the album cover and you've had over 20 years to figure out how to spell it.. Jesus ever lovin' christ. Okay. End rant.

I know what you mean Deano.....even the ones WITH puctuation can get pretty tedious....I mean really....is it so hard to form complete sentances.....without resorting to silly tactics.....or have healthy discussions....amongst adults.....in a normal rational way.....but no they just have to go on.....and on......and on......and on.....etc. 8)
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, wine and chocolate in hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "what a ride!"

These things will only get worse with the 20 somethings and younger generations. They have stopped teaching them grammar and they don't focus on spelling. It's called whole language and I hate it! My kids do get weekly spelling tests, but when they write, they do not have to spell things correctly or use proper grammar. It's about the content now. I just don't get it!

Yeah, dammit!!! :x

Where's Red13 with his complainin' about usin' apostrophes instead of typin' out the whole fuckin' word? :P

Oh, and NIG, don't forget affect/effect and accept/except. :D

 This was a fun read!

I can't stand seeing "Separate Ways" turned into "Seperate Ways" (see Bluejeans's rant on Sherrie, lol).

Also,it's 'sentence' not 'sentance' and 'tongue' not 'tounge'!..Irks the hell out of me when I see these!

I know,I might make mistakes myself with English being my second language, but shit! I expect perfect spelling from Americans themselves! :P

Oh,just remembered..."Rediculous"? Isn't that "Ridiculous"??? WTF?

"i could care less."
well if you could, then you're saying you DO care!

i don't understand when people misspell my name as "cindi," especially when they're replying to my email or post. the correct spelling is right there in front of you. how can you get 40% of the letters wrong? there are only five of them! i can understand when it gets misspelled "cindy," as that's the common spelling.

i suppose i can chose to ignore it & not loose any sleep over it. (that one was directed at you, lora )

Oh yeah - that reminds me. I forgot a few.

It's Cyndy not Cindy and it's Lora not Laura.

And it's Stephen not Steven. Any more I forgot??

The instrument is a "bass".

The fish is a "bass".

The army HQ is a "base".

In baseball, it's second "base".

There, that should help sort things out.
