Vedder has a shit voice and I wish death on him. A humorless piece of shit that needs his feet chopped off and surgically sewn into his mouth.

Oh Lord God almighty please give Eddie Vedder a painful incurable disease of your choice. May it be an excruciating and drawn out death so I may take pleasure in his suffering. Oh kind and powerful God, this is all I ask.

Amen

I actually like one Pearl Jam song. It was the heavier one off of Vitology. Whatever the first single was.

Dude, I loved hair bands as much as the next 80's child, but you can;'t blame grunge for killing it off. What killed it off was the tremendous amount of EXCESS and the increasing number of shitty bands flooding the market (TRIXTER anyone?) who took the whole thing to ridiculous extremes...Grunge was just a backlash to how ridiculous and pathetic most of that scene had become. Shit, watch ANY behind the music for these bands and you'll see...Hell, CC Deville doesn't blame grunge... Dee Snider doesn't blame grunge...the cold truth is those guys have no one to blame but themseves...

I really like this song. I think the main reason I like this song so much is cause its the theme from the new Adam Sandler movie (Reign Over Me! ).
Thanks for sharing!!!!

Never hated Pearl Jam,they were great ("Ten" is still one of the good albums out there).Them and Soundgarden were really special back in the '90s.

Vedder might be a disturbed rockstar, but hell,I like him.He sounds really good on this one.
Thanks X!

No offense, but Bettie Wetter couldn't get on key if he had a SoundForge, Mutt Lange, and Contreras working as his vocal coach six days a week for a decade. He's plain awful. Now, I do think that "Given To Fly" was a fantastic song...even though they were blatantly ripping off U2...and "Black" was tolerable. Otherwise their catalogue is a festering pile of dog vomit. I've listened to this clip and I just don't get it. I suppose I never will. Beddie Wetter is the manifestation of everything that went wrong with music after 1991. What bothers me most about him, Curtis Cobain, and Scooter Weiland, was the outright disrespect they have shown over the years to their hard rock predecessors. Just look it up. Once you've read about their trash talking, you'll want to hunt him down and give him a nuclear wedgie, too.

We have the last laugh, though. Melodic rock is back in full force. In retrospect, grunge will be a blip on the radar screen of rock history, and music students in 50 years will be listening to the classics, not to that soulless, passionless excrement that Seattle force-fed us for most of the 90's.

I agree.

That is probably my favorite Who song though, so I am fairly particular about the way I want to hear it.
And I say Eddie V, knock that shit off, you fucked up the bridge. Were you singing in your sleep? Where's the passion? It was there then it was gone, then you were just screaming like a retard.

This is like Tiny Tim trying to sing Why Can't This Night Go On Forever.

Well...you say potato...
I think pearl Jam was an incredible band. TEN is , without a doubt, one of the finest rock albums of the last 20 years. And Vedder and company NEVER pissed on their hard rock predecessors. Far from it! They've long hailed Pete Townsend and the WHO, and shown outright love for KISS, and other bands of that ilk. I do remember NIRVANA having a go at Axl Rose at the MTV awards..and I LOVED it! You wanna blame someone for the demise of hard rock? Blame THOSE fuckers! Couldn't even keep it together long enough for three albums (decent ones, anyway- what a steaming pile of crap those USE YOUR ILLUSIONS are!) Those guys coulda been the next Zepplin, and they let ego and excess drag them, and the rest of their hard rock bretheren, right into the pisser...Not since little Anakin Skywalker has a "chosen one" f'ed things up worse!
But I digress. ..no Vedder doesn't have Perry's voice, or Brad Delps (RIP) or that twirp from STEELHEART, but who cares! Neither does Dylan, or Springsteen, or Petty or Seger...gonna debate their relevance? At is's best, their music is primal and soul searing. At it's WORST (and they DO have some shitty stuff) it's masterbatory garbage. But damn, you could almost say that about anyone, couldn't you? Please remember that this is coming from an avid follower of all that is "melodic" and that I have seen damn near every hard rock and hair band multiple times...but I choose to try not to be too much of an old fogey...it ain't all about the past. As Keith Richards once said..."The best rock n roll band in the world is playing right now in a garage in Nebraska, and no one is listening."

Damn...I need a drink!
