Tomulator, you're obnoxious and self-ritcheous. You're calling me uneducated...hmmmm...what do you know about me? My life, my career, and my education have all revolved around music. So, you play, do you? Let's see...

What kind of technique employs this?

Fingering a chord or group of notes and strumming across the strings with one motion.

You have 20 minutes, asshole.

Question two, Hendrix. How many flats are in the key of G-flat minor?

Question three, Satriani. True or false. A music sentence usually ends with a deceptive cadence?

Number four, Maestro. The beginning of Beethoven's Fifth is an example of what kind of phrase?

Pony up, jackass.

You fucked up...this PURE SHIT. Read it....fuckin' read it. Garbage.

When I find myself in times of trouble, mother Mary comes to me,
speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
And in my hour of darkness she is standing right in front of me,
speaking words of wisdom, let it be.

Let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be.
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be.

And when the broken hearted people living in the world agree,
there will be an answer, let it be.
For though they may be parted there is still a chance that they will see,
there will be an answer. let it be.

Let it be, let it be, .....

And when the night is cloudy, there is still a light, that shines on me,
shine until tomorrow, let it be.
I wake up to the sound of music, mother Mary comes to me,
speaking words of wisdom, let it be.

Let it be, let it be, .....

The lyrics make a lot of sense St J when you know Paul wrote them to his deceased mother who was named Mary. A lot of people mistakenly think of it as a Catholic thing, but it's not. It's a son to mother thing.

I was tempted to go tomorrow. I'm off work too.

There are two shows in Maryland on Thursday. I have tix to the early show.

Not with streaming audio. Never have done that. I can get the video once it makes it to Howard TV though.

Think I'll stay.

BTW, I have done NOTHING to deserve these attacks that you and Beano have given me. I started my first topic here and was INSTANTLY attacked by Beano. For no reason...just because he felt like it. Fuck that. BTW, you have been no better and at least Beano can make a logical argument once in awhile...you on the other hand...

For the record (like I give a crap what you think), I never came in here spewing "anti-Neal Schon" messages. I love Neal's playing probably MORE than you do...at least I can appreciate it more being a long-time guitar player myself. That is why I mentioned that Luke was so good.

I have been a Journey fan for years...that is why I'm here and I think I'll stick around because I can add alot to this board.

Arpeggio, dickweed.

I am "self taught" on the instrument as are MANY of the greats (NS is too, btw).

I don't need to spend thousands of dollars to go to school to learn to create ART. You apparently do but, what I'd like to know is how is the ART you make?

u.

Pony up, jackass.

2) Haven't studied the Circle of Fifths in years but...let's see...6 I believe.

3) Who cares numbnuts...makes no difference to my playing or writing ability.

4) Do you think Beethoven cared about such useless information when he composed his 5th? Neither should you.

In closing, lick my balls wuss. BTW, can you actually PLAY an instrument or do you just study worthless musical nomenclature?

Tomulator, if I was a good songwriter, I'd have sold a shitload of records in the late 80's and early 90's. I'm not, however. At least I'm self-effacing enough to realize that.

Incidentally, I play the piano, the bass, and some guitar (although I'm sloppier than Stone Goassard on weed). I also play the tenor sax, but it sounds like a weasel being mutilated in a towel wringer.

In order to substantiate your claims about Luke, it is relevant that you have an appropriate knowledge base in order to be credible.

P.S. How long did it take you to cross-index answer #2 on the 'net? Questions 3 and 4 are actually pretty basic. I know you were online, because you were listed under the "members active in this topic" header.

Move along now, son.

THAT...I believe.

I myself play guitar, sing, write and have played in various bands since I was 15 or so. I am decent...not great but, decent and I have been musically active my entire life (band, choir, piano, trumpet, trombone, etc.).

Hey boys, it does seem that both of you have something you can contribute and I for one would like to hear both of you. Let's give Andrew a break here huh?

So Tom likes Lukather. Hell, can't say Lukather isn't awesome. Let's agree to disagree on this one.

What do you say?

Are you sure? The first thing you did when you came to this board is tell JSS you didn't think he fit the Journey style, and presumed to give him career advice. Like he needs to hear that from you. Then you continue your litany with Schon not being as good as Lukather. You do these things and don't expect to get some kind of resistance? Your sarcasm and ego are as thick as your head. And I agree with Deano and smell piss as well. Your agenda here has nothing to do with discussing Journey. It's about bashing the band and causing trouble.

You are a troll.

Look back at his earlier post at 7 wishes. He is basically saying he plays instruments and is wonderful and even though 7 wishes plays instruments he is a piece of shit. That's not personal? He also called 7 wishes a dickweed yet I don't see him called out about it.

Wrong.

Re-read my initial post...it was quite complimentary of the band and ESPECIALLY of JSS. Go ahead...re-read it!

Beano decided he knew better than I what my "agenda" was...complete bullshit and I called him on it.

As for Luke...just because I think he is better DOESN'T mean I don't LIKE NEAL SCHON!!!

Geez...get it through your skull here. I am a Journey fan...and probably more of a NS fan than most here.

I have been unfairly attacked by the likes of you...but, after reading this forum for a long time without posting, I expected that.

I'm tough...I can take it.
