kiss- dumb
winger-poser
dire straits- boring
grateful dead (when the dope wears off, the audience goes "man, these guys suck!)
Dave mathews band- I HATE these guys so much
Phish- grateful dead wannabes
Hootie and the Blowfish- um, yeah...
Creedence- Used to like em. Can't stand them now.
Metalica (buncha whiny friggin' babies. Lars is the biggest dick in the world)
Bob Seeger- Old Time RocknRol- I have to hear people in clubs yell that at every gig. Thanks asshole!
Glen Fry/though I like Henley
SuperNova- friggin joke. A band of hasbeens and neverwas's
Tommy Lee- Tommy's famous because his wife was a fox. HE's a friggin idiot.
Fleetwood Mac- Stevie Nicks is SO over rated. Christine McVie is much better
Pearl Jam (Vedder sounds like a goat and I'm FROM Seattle)
REM- YES! God I hate REM!
The Doors- Never, and I mean NEVER play an organ without a Leslie!
NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

Dude, the boss is perhaps one of the finest songwriters in the last 50 years! Listen to BORN TO RUN era stuff like JUNGLELAND and MEETING ACROSS THE RIVER- brilliant stuff, especially from a lyrical standpoint... And an absolutely stellar performer. His voice is definitely an acquired thing, but his performance standards are as high as they come (and he's a damned underrated guitarest in my book!) But..you say potato...

I gotta go with -
CREED- absolute worst!

Funny...Same thing happened to me,can't figure out why.

Forgot to add to my shit list: Sex Pistols and The Clash (horrible, horrible bands) as well as Frank Zappaaah!

The Doors are saved by a couple songs (and Morrison's utter hotness :P ) but the rest is heroin-smelling garbage.

Oh,and The Who.Phooey.

I can usually find something to like in most genres of music, but there are a couple of instances where enjoyment completely eludes me:

1. U2 - I'm with Moonie on this one, never really got it. It seems like the same dreary song over and over, and the vocals aren't too special. I have a theory that nearly all songwriters probably write the same song over and over, however it depends for the listener on whether you like the song!

2. Grateful Dead - what the? Style over content, and lacking in style.

3. Oasis - British band. Arrogant and awful. Rock music for people who don't like music.

I like a few songs by some of these bands but, by and large, can't stand them...

KISS
The Rolling Stones
The Who
Poison
Aerosmith
REM
Nirvana (and all other grunge bands, with the exception of Soundgarden)

I'm with you, except for Aerosmith (love most of their stuff) and Nirvana. I know what they represent, but you have to admit some of their stuff is pretty good. At least, I think so. Cobain was overrated, tho.

I actually like quite a few Aerosmith tunes but they're a band where I either love the song or totally hate them. There's not much in between, so I had to put them on the list.

Wow, it's funny how opinions differ. I think Aerosmith has done some terrific work since Done With Mirrors, with probably their best effort being their very next record, Permanent Vacation. Pump was pretty decent, except for "Janie's Got A Gun", Get A Grip was fantastic, Nine Lives, while it had some different flavors, had some really good tracks ("Ain't That A Bitch", anyone), and Just Push Play had some decent songs, too. Not a big fan of Bobo, but that's just not my style of music. Hopefully, eventually, they'll stop releasing compilations and get back into the studio.

LYRICALLY- YES, I agree, Bruce has some great lyrics. Musically, he's shite. Born in the USA was one of the most annoyingly stupid songs I've ever heard. Those who complain about the riff in Augeri's "Believe" being repeated over and over, but on Born in the USA. That albums was a piece of crap. Born to Run IS a good song though. Forgot that one. He's just not my thing. I don't like Bruce's style at all.
For Jersey, I'd rather hear Hiway 9/Burtnik/Mr. Reality than "the Boss". Blech...

Kanye West- yup, sick of him

One thing about Born in the USA that ALWAYS amused me, people would try to use it as a pro American song. Um, listen to it folks...
