Why can't rock bands 'do it for the money' like every one else does, without copping criticism? The studio and the stage is their workplace, after all.

Of course you do it for money, but I don't like it when that is the ONLY reason. If VH decided to do one last tour as a cash grab, I wouldn't be interested.

Yeah but what do you think would have gotten more money? The lineup with Wolfie or the Original lineup with MA?

Good point, but I don't think Eddie sees it that way. I think he truly believes the fans will dig watching his kid replace MA.

Or its a publicity stunt to garner interest in the tour.Either way, it's looking more and more like the trainwreck many of us predicited on here.

I do hope that Eddie gets better and this thing can be revived.I think what Mike and Sammy did at the HOF was just the start of healing some very bad blood between all involved.

That was the Smoking Loon doing the thinking for him. When you're an alcoholic, you only think about yourself. An entertainer who thinks only about himself is no longer an entertainer. You have to give your fans what they want to be a successful entertainer, not what you want (i.e. to see your son onstage).

Give Eddie some credit,he addmited that he needed help and is in rehab. The guy went through a divorce and cancer.

Hey I gave him credit. he went thru a divorce,drugs and drinking addiction,cancer and hip replacment surgery, and now a failed attempt to get his career up and running.
