If I were a "Loon" I would say "He doesn't have to prove anything",but as a fan my only wish is just to hear him sing whenever he's ready.

the loons are pretty cool anymore,, they are around but just enjoying the music anymore,, now on the other hand, what are the augeri women called? 8) wow , those chicks are crazy out there.. :)

Yea, the one with the loon definition? I had a dustup going over Frank's crib one day and I WANTED that thing, came here looking to crib it from your sig and throw it into some smug-ass faces over there, only find that you changed it :x :x :x I NEEDED that.
So I used Barb's "pumpkin pie" post which is also awesome. :)

The Augeri women are AugeriDriveByShooters (tm Strangegrey) and OUR loons are cool but Christ almighty did Strangegrey's place have some hate-filled militant loons. Lar, you prolly didn't frequent the place but they were PerryJihadists of the purest breed.

Shoulda known. Brilliantly composed by NealIsGod and kudos to your sense of self-depracation for using it as your sig.

Now, if I may be excused I must go exercise MY sense of self-defaction.

Red - I can only think of one Loon who I didn't know from MR - and she seemed hardcore but essentially reasonable.

We agree to disagree, old chap.

When one's excusing a berating of little boy in front of the boy's father and THEN intimating the Stu and his dad probably had it coming, and THEN saying that even if they DIDN'T have it coming to get over it, then one is an absolute asshole who refuses to see the forrest through the trees.

I've been trying to remember who some of the hardcore Perry fans were from over there. I think I know who you're talking about 13. During my last few visits I was mostly dealing with the Augeri fans who were out for Andrew's blood.

You sure?

A loon is a person who is so enthralled with Steve Perry that they praise everything he does and denounce everything Journey does without him.
Just being a big Perry fan, which I'd say 99% of us are, does not make you a loon.

It was a few and your first sentance appears to be going down the same "so what?" road.

Now I KNOW you're no asshole, dude, but you can't possibly think that's cool can you?

Red - I was sympathetic about that episode when I first heard about it a year ago - but now I think it's time to let it go, don't you?

Perry was out of line. There's no denying it. But this was twenty-seven years ago.

Still...I haven't forgiven the captain of the soccer team I support getting irritable with me in 1981 so who am I to talk? :)

Yes.
And like I said RVR doesn't go around always bringing it up. I've seen him talk about it ONCE and once only, with prodding.
But when it came up over there, and it was the first time it was discussed there it was patently sickening how cavalierly it was not only excused, but turned around on RVR there.
THAT is the mentality that speaks to the loon definition and the infalability of perry that it contains that is now posted in this thread.
It is not Perry I am focusing on here but the PerryJihadists.

Lord! Talk about crapping all over a decent thread.

Why don't some of you start a new thread called, Loons, Goons, Wigglers and Jerks. Perry, Journey, Augeri and Soto being the entitled.
