Hm and to think, more than a few individuals think his voice is like Augeri's.

LOL! with tears...oh, man between SJ's first post & Styxman's spam menu.
Sorry, no offense to the original poster & the snacks that bring back happy memories - I have a lot of nostalgic memories.

Remember Fizzies (I think that is what they were called) - you put them in water & made a fizzy drink? In 4th grade my best friend came back from vacation & told me about this great candy. She told me to put it in my mouth & then take a drink from the water fountain...I was foaming red stuff at the mouth in the school hall!

BTW, they still have a lot of the old snacks like Jiffy pop at Target's $1 bin & the dots on paper were at the fabric store last week ('cuz we got some) & I've gotten the wax bottles with liquid at the Dollar store.

The thing I miss the most is Coke in glass bottles - the 8 pack....they just taste better in bottles - icy cold.

Thanks for this link...I see the Fizzies there! I remember many of these penny candies - we used to get a little paper bag at the Ben Franklin five & dime & pick out the candies from big glass jars. Every thing was one penny. "Thems were the days".

We certainly had our share of Jiffy Pop. My grandparents always had those candy Orange Slices and Candy Peanuts. Yuck! My favorite candy as a kid was the Chunky chocolate bars. We had Lickum ade, and Pixie Stix, which I liked, but remember those Cherry Mash yucky things? I still love those Hostess Cherry Pies, Cinnamon Rolls and Honey Buns. Good think diabetes doesn't run in my family.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

Awesome stuff!! Flavored peanut butter...loved the vanilla flavored and the cinnamon flavored versions.

Wish they'd bring it back!

Yes, there is no frosted animal cookie like a Mother's frosted animal cookie. Not even sure what the other's put on theirs.

Ha!
Yea, and how about the short-lived "Crunch Gators" by Frito Lay....Home Alone was on the other night while I was flipping through and Culkin was there eating a bag of them. 1990.

Fave breakfast cereal from kidhood:

"KABOOM"

I think it was later removed from the shelves as the dye used was akin to nuclear waste.

What is this shit? Government issued handouts? I, like NIG, have only heard of the Hostess pies and the Marathon Candy Bar. "Oh Boy Oberto Sausage?" That sounds disgusting. Are you Amish, Mormon or did you grow up in a foster home?

Nope, but it sound like you sure as hell did..especially with your reply to something that was meant to be fun.
What a fuckin' stupid moronic response. Why in the hell did you even reply.
A lot of the items I mentioned are still some of the top selling items, especially on the West coast. So who's the dipshit now.
What does growing up in a foster home or being a Morman anyway have anything to do with knowing these products or not. You need to do a little research on these things first. These people don't live under a rock as it sounds like you do.
