Here's some cheese to go with that whine
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, wine and chocolate in hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "what a ride!"

Well, the band isn't doing anything at the moment (publicly anyway), so it's to be expected. You can only talk about the past, your favorite songs, etc. for so long.

During the European tour and the Florida shows, there were only a few scattered OT threads.

I like the OT stuff anyway because I like seeing what posters' other interests are outside of the fact that we are all Journey fans.

OK. "We Will Meet Again" and "Higher Place" are the best songs on Arrival. "With Your Love" is the worst. Discuss.

LMAO, you stole my line!

I like the OTs - esp when things are slow on the Journey front.
As long as they say OT and give a hint about the topic, you can always skip it  .

If they say OT, don't read them. Pretty simple. At least the OT threads lets the posters get to know each other a little more than just Journey talk. Are you going to share any of that cheese now?

Speaking of OT, who doesn't feel for this poor guy.

VA surgeon cuts off the wrong testicle
Benjamin Houghton went to a veteran's hospital in Los Angeles to have a potentially cancerous testicle removed, but instead of removing the painful one on the left the surgeon removed the perfectly healthy one on the right, according to the Los Angeles Times.

"Houghton was left deprived of the testosterone the healthy testicle produced, setting him up for potential health complications including sexual dysfunction, depression, fatigue, weight gain and osteoporosis," the paper reports. "Within a healthcare system with nationally recognized patient safety innovations, he joined the ranks of hundreds of thousands of Americans each year who are victimized by medical errors."

In this case, the Air Force veteran's medical records show a series of small errors grew into one big mistake. The consent form identified the wrong testicle. The surgical team didn't mark the correct one before they sedated him. Doctors appear to have relied on the erroneous consent form, instead of other documents, during the "timeout" that is supposed to ensure they're cutting in the right spot.

Houghton was told about the mistake while he was in the recovery room. "At first I thought it was a joke," he tells the Times. "Then I was shocked. I told them, 'What do I do now?'"

He has filed a lawsuit.

For some reason, when I was readin this, I was picturing Rob Schneider standing outside the surgery room :

I agree with you...to a point.

but, it's supposed to be a Journey forum, is it not?

It's kinda like on Jurassic Park when they are going on the tour and Dr. Malcom says, "Uh, you do plan on having DINOSAURS on your DINOSAUR tour, don't you? Hello?"

And, yes, I do know the general response to that is, ">sigh< I do hate that man..."
