WOW??!?!
So many folks wonderin' about me...
I guess I am still fighting the immense depression
I have felt at TJFs being shutdown :)

But seriously, I am alive and well.
I haven't ran for the Northern Border but I just might...
I would LOVE to catch a few Ottawa/Pittsburgh Playoff games :D

Hey Dean, wouldn't a 'Nucks/Pens Cup run be grand? :)

Life at work has been very hectic and I haven't had much posting time.
Same goes for the home-front.
Our little baby girl (possibly to be named Abigail Marie) will be born at the end of May.
Our new house should be ready by mid-June and then I head on over to The Box in early August.

I'm not gonna get into the big political debates this thread started because, quite frankly, most of
you folks are WAY too smart for me on this topic :) I will say this though...
The last 6 years of my career have been harder on me and my family than the first 10.
And I think I can easily say the same thing for 95% of the people I serve with.
It is definitely time for a change in our government's way of thinking.

But I would like to give you all a big, heart-felt "Thank You" for your constant suppport/concern.
I do miss all of you immensely and hope I can get some more posting time in.

PS Hey JoePa, you need to explain the "Blowjob Hack" comment cuz you lost me :)

Nice to know you are alive and well.

Why are you going back. Didn't our wonderful republican president say 4 years ago, "Mission Accomplished?"

Speaking of 4 years. Who wants to bet the Dems candidate won't break that bad boy out.

"Are you better off now than you were 4 years ago, or ever since this retard somehow became the leader of the free world?"

Why, you ask?
Cause I wanna stay out of jail, need that retiremnet pension in a few years and really don't want to move the family to Canada just yet :)
Seriously, I ask myself that question all the time but I really don't ave a choice.

But I do think what you typed would make a GREAT commercial slogan for Hillary!

No, she'd use something like "Once you go Black (Obama), you never go back". That in and of itself would keep people (most southerners) from voting against her.

The South won't even be paid attention to by the Dems. Only 3 states are in play. Florida, which is always close, but mysteriously always goes GOP( I wonder why); North Carolina (J Edwards), and now Louisiana. You can keep Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, S Carolina, KY, TN and Arkansas. Fuckin hillbillies.

When in Florida, I saw the Stars and bars flags everywhere. That is as embarrassing as Jesse Jackson and Sharpton. Those states are an embarrassment.

I've been to all of those states except for So. Car. and I can confirm that many of them are an embarrassment to the rest of the white people who gave up on slavery over a century ago. Yeah, it's "funny" how Florida always goes Rep at the last moment... hmmmm...

The fact that the stars and bars still are highly regarded as "the south" baffles me. They might as well put a burning cross on a flag.

Yep, too many "stars and bars" flags for sure down here! I was more shocked though to see a few of them in NW Pennsylvania when I was there last month. What's up with that??? I grew up there and NEVER remember seeing that! I know I'm not up on my history, but I thought PA was the north.

There are times, especially election times, when the total ignorance and stupidity of some of the people around me here in this particular area is infuriating. But at least we elected a Democratic Governor the last two elections and got rid of that Bush bootlicker Allen as a Senator.

The Civil War has been over and so has slavery for almost 150 yrs. There is no one alive today that had anything to do with any of it. It's time to fuckin' GET OVER IT!!!!

Not quite. Utah has it's pretty parts, Deer park, Weber Canyon, etc, but not quite the Canadian Rockies. It's on a different level bro.

BackTalk Leader Speaks Out

Postby Rockindeano » Wed Apr 11, 2007 2:51 am

Want to know why BT is so fucked up? This guy is their leader. Read this bullshit:

Good ol Rich Meyers weighs in on the War.

I agree that the Administration has had it's shortfalls as it applies to the handling of the War in Iraq, but I don't believe it's all been bad, or that the Administration is somehow inept.

I believe that George Bush had the absolute right intentions going into this and that he had faith in those that were charged with handling the strategy. I also believe that his loyalty to those around him caused him to allow these failures to become bigger than they had to be.

War is **** and shouldn't be entered into lightly. This War was a long time in coming and the previous Administration has it's share of blame for how it came to where a fruit like Bin Laden could attack us on our own soil.

Unfortunately, I think sour grapes by the former minority, about losing the Presidency in 2000, has caused them to play Political roulette with our nation's security and that their mission to win back the White House has became more important than anything.

They believe they win by the President's failures. However, they must take their share of blame for the problems we are having in Iraq and for Iran's public display of defiance, as they should have been spending the last 7 years helping devise a better strategy than doing all they can to undermine it.

Politics as usual is destroying our National Security and causing divisions within our Country and the World Community that may never heal. I fear 9-11 is likely the beginning of bigger attacks to come.

Yulog, that is simply one spec of the Canadian Rockies.

From Banff/Lake Louise to Jasper along the Icefield Parkway, it's about 150 miles but can take you 5 hours to make the trip. Why?

It is so amazingly beutiful, you find yourself stopping around every curve, to take pictures...and then you find yourself stopping for bighorn sheep, bears, and Moose.
