Please don't come back with the "I'm worldly educated bullshit." So Iam I, and it's time to let go of the college surealism....where what the world should be like isn't the case.

If you can talk without attacks thats fine. I happen to agree with you on the point your making. You are ignoring the point that I was making. What about the medias bias. Who gives these people time on the air to say their views? Why does the media focus on the most inciteful and controversial on either side? Whos behind it and do they have an agenda of their own? That was what I was pointing out in my post if you care to read it. Do you have an opinion on the role the media plays in this? Who really is the most at fault, the most guilty of stirring the pot?RockinDeano wrote:TVL wrote:yes it is the caseRockinDeano wrote:After managing to read that diatribe, what the fuck was your point?

Ok, I am going to TRY, to be civil. Can you do the same? I see this train starting out already on the wrong track.
Jesse Jackson is a piece of shit. He is magnifying this problem.
Imus is a racist pig, frequently calling people "niggers" at WNBC. Howard Stern himself witnessed it many times.
Imus is right in the fact that what he said (Nappy headed Ho's)was originated not by Imus, but by the black rappers themselves. There is a fucking double-standard, and it's BULLSHIT.
read again, dude. I said he represents the views of others in the black community. I didnt say ALL. and I made the point that people" like" Kramer and others that have said things dont represent all of the white community. Try to read before you comment. It helps.Red13JoePa wrote:Generalize much, TVL?![]()
Who said they think this phony represents ALL black views?
Probably the same people who said they think "Kramer" represents all white views.
NOBODY.
This guy's one isolated dirtbag who hides behind a racial cause continuously to basically further himself. He's an insult to DECENT blacks trying to further themselves the honest way.
But I saw NO ONE in this thread who called Jesse Jaxon what he is that also said "And all blacks are JUST like him."

did I give an accounting to the numbers? No. He does have a following and there are people who agree with him. This is a fact you cannot dispute. You may not like it, but thats the case. Again, that was not the main point I was making and you know it. Continue to derail if you must. I made my point.Red13JoePa wrote:TVL wrote:Red13JoePa wrote:Generalize much, TVL?![]()

No, thank you. My eyes bled through the runon sentence the FIRST time, I got your drift AND your number.
I'd further submit that "The Reverand (![]()
)" doesn't represent the stances of NEARLY as many citizens as you think.

Trying to identify with? What you have just said is too uninformed and ignorant for comment. You want to stick to my point and talk about the role the media plays in stirring the pot of racial tensions, then fine. If you just wish to give personal attacks that are off the point then I dont have time for you. You are just trying to bait and incite with your derailment. Have a good day.Red13JoePa wrote:TVL wrote: I made my point.
Yes, you did.
Short, yet uninformed, overly general and ignorant.
Funniest part is, the very people you're trying to identify with vicariously would run you right out of their barber shops and beauty parlors for having the audacity to try to.

In college, my wife went on a field trip to Chicago with one of her classes and, for some odd reason, they visited Jackson's Rainbow Push headquarters. When they went to leave the building, they were not allowed to do so until they gave a "donation". Par for the course with Jesse Jackson.

Holding people against their will is against the law in any form unless you're law enforcement. Should have called the police AND the media....

I'm sure it was done in such a way as to make it appear that it was only a "suggested" contribution, not coerced.

TVL wrote:I think a better question is why does the media go for the most controversial of people to speak when something like this comes up. Exactly who is the most instrumental in keeping up the divide and the tensions? Who is the real player and instigator? Are the media just showing both sides of an issue and using the most inciteful for ratings? Do they have their own agenda for this reason or some other bias as well? This is what I question.
