Postby *Laura » Fri Apr 13, 2007 2:14 am

...in 2005. :wink:

I had to send this to someone via YouTube...Thought I'd bring it here for those who maybe didn't see it at the time.

Perry & A.J. Pyerzinski.

Thanks, Laura! I had not seen that either. That was fun to watch. Steve was so excited to be a part of it all. The excitement in his eyes , his face, like a kid. Love to see people that happy and enjoying themselves. Sweet. :)

I'm going off subject here a second, but, I kind of know his excitement...
My husband walked in last night with 4 tickets to MOBILE BAY BEARS, {Minor league, same as Major League without the steroids..LOL}
game on April 28th...
One, I'm huge Brett Butler fan, he's now their Manager. Two, I LOVE BASEBALL! Three, it will be our 20 years on the 28th.. :D
So, I understand the excitement just a little bit..

Thanks a bunch, Laura, I had never seen that interview..Nice to see it now..OMG, how he is missed...do u think he knows how much his fans need to see him and hear him? I know his voice is not the same, but I know he sounds great if TBF is any indication how he might sound now...That is my fav. album.

Too true Sher, and IMO the backwards ballcap isn't a good luck on anybody.

He looks like a fuckin sewer rat, who climbed out of a manhole on 16th street, and decided to bump into the ESPN studio and do a quick interview. WTF is that guy thinking? You can tell he has no PR working for him or he wouldn't look like that.

I agree, it looks stupid on everyone. I don't know who started that trend or why. Image

I read somewhere that the trend was started because of the TV show SWAT.
Still,I thought it was The Beastie Boys....

I really don't like the trend, however they say that some people wear it backwards to keep their neck from getting sunburned.

Maybe Steve thought it was cool to wear it like that,or it was a Baseball thing.Doesn't the home plate umpire wear his cap backwards too?

The catcher wears his backwards because of the mask, but I don't think that's what started the trend. It didn't even look good on Johnny Bench. :shock: I think it was more likely the rap thing. It evolved from the sideways bill. I can understand the sunburned neck thing, but then you'd get a sunburned nose. Image

Its called wearing a ball cap and your hair is a mess, you want to have some face time, so you turn it around. Oh well, least we see him out. I've seen the video before.
