Try a few quick remedies.Glycerine & lemon, milk with butter...At least these work directly on the voice.
Hope you'll be up to get through the shows.Take care.

I can think of something else that would help the throat but on all accounts it tastes awful and you'd probably have to spit it back out, still worth a try Nora if it's an important show

saint John wrote:Most of the problem lies with what you do BEFORE you get the cold. About a year ago I started drinking 3 16oz. glasses of Green Tea daily. I haven't been sick ONCE. I'm like fuckin' Superman. I've never been one to wear coats unless it's below like 25 degrees, but I always wear a hat. Try the Green Tea routine. The anyi-oxidants keep your immune system humming along. As for now though, you're screwed!!Hope you have a speedy recovery.

I have had a few colds recently and am just getting over a bout of bronchitis despite taken regular exercise and watching what i eat - I thought it was old age creeping up on me! Definately going to try the green tea tip, any particular way that you take it SJ?
Oh, and get well soon Nora! I think JSS posted some advice here about getting over throat problems recently, from when they were in the UK...might be useful?
