Step Back and Take A Look At Yourselves

This board is in a sad state of affairs. What makes it even worse is that some people here can't see past their own ego's and realize they are contributing to the problem as a whole. What some need to realize is that they are no better than the next person who posts or lurks here. No matter how much you know, no matter how many posts you have, you'll still be labeled an asshole unless your delivery changes. I'm not naming anyone here, because you know who you are.

Step back from your ego for a sec.... some of you may need to pack a lunch, because that in itself will be a long trip. Have many of you ever given a thought or a shit about what you may be contributing or detracting from this site every time you click the "Post Reply" button? Seriously? Ever taken a look back and considered your delivery or the words you use?

The messageboard you're on is one of the best on the internet and is run by a guy who lets you get by with ALOT. There only a few rules and some of you can't even follow those. What makes you so damn special? I challange you to delete your profile from this site and go start your own forum and see how easy it is. Better stock up on asprin. Go to ANY other forum and post the shit some of you post and see how long it is before you're thrown off. There's sooooo much knowledge lurking here within this messageboard, but it means squat if you deliver it wrong.... because no one will take you seriously.

I lurked here for a long damn time with very minimal posts. I read alot and soaked up alot, but also saw what kind of people some of you are. The words Arrogant and Keyboard Cowboy come to mind. What makes it even worse is that some of you have a firm and true belief that what you have to say is far above and beyond what anyone else here has to say. Everyone here knows what they say about "Opinions"....

What some don't understand is that no matter who says what, a personal attack is just that... PERSONAL. I don't care what your status is here, or what YOU believe your status is here. It changes nothing. This is one of Andrews biggest rules, and yet some here think they fly far above that.

I also noticed someone say that without certain posters here, this board would fall into obscurity. What a way to post yourself up onto a pedistal. It's also one of the biggest crocks of shit posted yet. Although I try not to take sides, I can list off a top 10 or 20 that could be banned for life, and this board would carry on just fine without them. Sure, their knowledge would be gone, but I have a feeling that even more people would come to the board because the biggest trouble makers would be gone. This is EXACTLY the way it worked out at a bar I used to bounce at. We cleaned house on about 10 of the worst jackasses and their groupies, and within a month or two, the bar was busier than ever before, and with alot less headaches. Imagine that.......

So.... it comes down to a very simple question:

"Do you want a board to post on?"

If the answer is yes, then you need to make sure your brain is in gear long before you post a reply

If the answer is no, then kindly remove yourself from here and not ruin it for the people who answered "Yes"


What you all also need to consider is what he has been going through with his bandwidth costs lately. With the way some of you act, and the shit some of you pull, the easiest thing for him to do to relieve this stress is to pull the plug on the board. Some of you make it just that easy of a decision. Instead, he trudges on looking for other ways to cover the costs. Show a little respect. What you have here is a place far above and beyond what other messageboards allow you, but yet some wish to shit where they eat. Don't some of you think Andrew has other things he'd love to be doing other than following you around with a pooper scooper and a baggie? He has a family and kids who'd love to be at the park or outside, but instead he needs to babysit some of you. I've seen many pics of people here, and from what I know, all I can picture of some of you is one hand on the keyboard, the other on a rattle and a pacifier in your mouth. Pretty picture huh?

This isn't directed at just the so-called Loons, Wigglers, or Sotojerks... it's for EVERYONE INVOLVED. It's funny how no one ever starts it, but yet everyone feels the need to chime in and continue it.


Get over yourselves and consider what you have here. If you can't, then you know where the door is. Go start your own multimillion hits messageboard.
