OT: Hockey and Twins

As you all know Dean and I are expecting twins. We received some great news today that the amnio came back healthy. We also learned that our babies are identical twins- BOYS.

Seeing that we are in the midst of the playoffs and Dean loves his Vancouver Canucks (I'm a Ducks fan) there is wagering going on. Vancouver has the wonder twins- Daniel and Henrik Sedin. These brothers scored the winning goal to end 4 periods of overtime to beat Dallas. I told Dean that was a good sign for our twins ;). All of this has a point......

The Wager-
Dean says if Vancouver goes all the way to win the Stanley Cup our boys will be named Daniel and Henrik. I implore you all to help me in this, I don't want our twins named after the Sedin boys! There is a chance they could be redheads too! OMG.

Lula, I'm happy that the tests came back healthy. That is great news. I'm not sure if or how to help you with the bet. I'll pull for the Stars if it will help. I don't get into hockey much. Good luck, and thanks again for the good news.

Congratulations on healthy babies! I like the name Daniel, not a fan of Henrik. Maybe he'd settle for Henry and use it as a middle name?

Rest easy Lula, the Canucks don't have a snowballs chance in hell. May I suggest naming them after Pavel Datsuk and Henrik Zetterburg? :D

As metioned above, you have nothing to worry about. Vancouver will not even make it to the finals, so your kids are "safe" .

Glad to read of this wonderful news Lula.
Good luck with the name giving, took me 5 months to convince Irish
Hubby that Liam would be a perfect name for our first son.
Liam is also the last four letters in Hubby's name and the Prick Dorf
still fought me on it.............he loves the name now so it's all in the fight

yay! boys! yay healthy!! yay redhead boy! I have a grandson who is redheaded. my grandsons are Hunter, Fisher and Tanner. yup, their dad is a taxidermist............next is Gunner and Trapper I suppose. :roll:
