Hey, look Linda Blair was/is kinda still a gorgeous woman.

I have no digital images and can't even turn a computer on, hence, no one's seen my grill here yet.

i'll figure something out someday.

And if I ever GET one, I want it to be the one from '85 that's the size of a subway car attached by a squiggly phone cord to the dictonary sized power pack that you have to carry around.

When the exorcist came out - I was young (2 or 3) .. and my cousin told me he has seen it a years before and said I reminded him the girl from the movie - I had looooooooong bone straight hair (opposite of now, I know) . I think I was 8 or 9 when he said that to me - so I paniced started thinking I was going turn into her ;)

Deano's baby pic made me laugh - what a cutie! :D I had thought about this idea before - wondering what everyone looked like back then. But, I don't have a scanner either...I wasn't bad looking, 'tho...skinny, long fluffy hair, used to get whistles, told I could be a model! hubby always says I looked like Jane Seymour to him (I think he needed glasses - I never looked that amazing)...ha, ha...sadly those days are long gone after having kids!

Neither do I. You can't get a signal within 5 mi of my house and it's hit or miss within 10 mi. I had one for a couple yrs but didn't use it enough for it to be worth the money.

Yea.
I AM kicking around upgrading from tomato cans and string to an actual hardline, though.

Can call more people.

Before the tomato cans I was like Rocky when I had to make a call. I'd open up the window and scream out.

I can not get a signal inside my house. So I almost never use my cell unless I am traveling or for emergencies. I'd love to dump my landline, but it just isn't feasible.

Travel and emergencies were the reasons I kept mine as long as I did, but I seldom travel so I found myself never using it. If hadn't thought I could find better use for the money I probably would have kept it, but it just seemed like a waste.

I would love to get rid of my landline - but my hubby is from Australia - so all his friends, family are there - and we have to have an international plan for it .. costs a small fortune to call over there.
My cell is great - because its all for work, its a write off ;)

LOL everyone! Some good replies here!

I love looking back at the days when I was young and rebel...haha
Still half-living in the 80s myself, the difference is I have a cell phone and a computer.

In 1986 I was sporting a huge Schon-style fro,or,if you like,an Yngwie-era Soto-bush. Curly hair was a blessing!

Image

 The high-school principal wasn't happy with my hair.He called my parents complaining that I am wearing a "wig" and acting like a rockstar, which wasn't a good example for the socialist youth. My Mom told him to shove his Socialism up his ass. She got in trouble but my "wig" stayed.I love my Mama.LOL!

However,almost 2 years after I tamed my curls,bought a Siameze cat,put on a headband and got into Aerobics.And Bon Jovi. :P

Image

From 1990 on,I colored my hair jet black and let it grow until it reached my lower back.Cher was envious!
Then I went back being a redhead and can't decide to straighten out my hair and be a new millenium like woman.I guess I'll die loving the 80s and my big curly hair.

TVL,your pic reminds me of the blonde singer from ABBA,Agnetha...A sweet face.

Great pics Shania, you've aged well lady and
I like your hairstyle better now.

I see we are still waiting on JoePa's mugshot.
We probably stand a better chance of Perry
giving us personal concerts then ever seeing
that dude's picture.

Yeah, loved your pics too Laura.

You're right about Joe 13 Moon. We're not likely to see his pic, but we probably will get the concert from Perry before we ever see one of TNC..

Great pics, Laura! Your a beauty and thank you for the compliment, but your too kind. The Abba singer is swedish and my grandmother came from Finland. I look alot like she did so I guess its the scandanavian ancestry for any similarities. Love your curly "wig"...I think everyone is getting tired of straightening their hair, so curls are coming back in fashion. 8)

Yeah, and now mine doesn't want to curl anymore. Image I spent ten years trying to straighten it, then 10 trying to make it curlier than it naturally was, then 10 more trying to straighten it. Now I just have to let it do whatever it wants too. Image
